What a masterpiece of a game! I loved the music soooo much and also the village's nighttime charm. For all the people who always only talk about the graphics, it should be said that's what makes this game so charming. I would have liked to help more, just to be able to continue playing. Maybe one day I'll return to this village, for the music, for the charm, for the story and for the mouse of course.

The Spirit and the Mouse takes you on the journey of a little mouse who wants to make a difference.
During a fateful night, the lights of a village full of people have turned off, leaving them in the dark.
The darkness affects people's hearts and leaves their spirits empty and sad.
Now your time to shine comes!
While this event happened you were at the right time at the right place.
It's your mission to help those who have lost sight of their tasks and bring light back to them.
The people will be happy and the Kibblins will appreciate your help.
The Spirit and the Mouse is a narrative-puzzle adventure game that leads you through the village while you listen to the peoples problems.
It makes you climb to collect lightbulbs and turn on electricity while you maneuver yourself through sometimes difficult terrain.
All in all a very sweet game and a hard recommendation!

This was such an enjoyable experience from start to finish. A very fun achievement hunt as well. It's an easy game, but at no point did it ever become boring. The puzzles are very easy, but each one is different from each other and is over in an instant. It's a kid friendly game, but just as enjoyable for adults. The story it is trying to tell is really heartfelt, about helping people, no matter how big or small.
In this game you explore a small little French inspired village, and it certainly got that kind of vibe. The music is so fitting, but also really enjoyable and relaxing.
I really like the graphics and artstyle and the little mouse is cute and feels good to control. I love the little creatures called kibblins, they have such a personality, they are adorable and I love the little sounds they make.
If you like Little Kitty, Big City, or maybe even Stray, then this will probably be right up your alley.

A short yet fun puzzle-platformer. I was not expecting to cry at a game like this but glad I actually played it specially with how well the character controls and is just the cutest little mouse~

The Spirit and the Mouse
A thunderstorm approaches the small town of Sainte-et-Claire, knocking out most of its power and leaving electrical appliances malfunctioning! In an attempt to cheer people up, a small but determined mouse chooses to make a big difference. Gaining electrical powers after a fortunate accident and meeting Lumion, a guardian spirit, team up to restore light – and power – back to the residents.
4-6 hours to complete, The Spirit and the Mouse is a casual game with easy puzzles, a semi-open world, and collectibles. As an electric mouse, zip through power lines, collect static from metal objects, and discover light bulbs to obtain additional abilities such as a useful electric dash, a lightbulb locator, a photo mode, and maps of the four districts. Special note; The Spirit and The Mouse offers a colorblind mode and has a dedicated squeak button as well as fun hat apparel to wear. Overall, a warm, feel-good adventure that’s easy to recommend.

Charming and sweet puzzle platformer.
The platforming is not punishing, but you will have to repeat some jumps and drops multiple times to get the placement just right to land where you want or need to be.
No "perfect timing" needed, but lots of "perfect placement" instead.
The game is well suited for people like me who only play in short sessions, you can save at any point- but you do not have old saves to reload. Make manual copies of your save if you want, though the game gives you multiple chances to go back and complete things for achievements right up until the very end.
Accessibility
The game has a nice bunch of accessibility option, including a colorblind mode that *should* work for the most common forms of colorblindness.
No Text or UI scaling, but the text in the game is fairly large, and there is a setting to increase contrast that affects text and everything else in the game.
All speech in the game is delivered via text and the closed captioning is well done- better than many other games that have it.
The mouse "squeaking" achievement is not too difficult even if you can't hear anything in the game- just spam the RMB to make the mouse squeak repetitively.
There *are* flashing lights with the mouse when you shock things and the Kibblins- may or may not be an issue for people with photosensitive seizure disorders, it did trigger a few headaches for me (chronic migraines)- so playing in short sessions was important for me to be able to stop if I felt a headache coming on.
**The biggest issue is the camera- it is set very low to the ground, is very loose and wonky. I t will drop. spin, can go back and forth rapidly if you get into a corner and get stuck. Turning off auto-recentering did not help much. Made me dizzy at times could be a rel issue with people prone to seasickness or with vertigo.**

All in all, the game is a hidden gem, not perfect, somewhat grindy, and not many good walkthroughs or guides here on Steam though there are some "decent" walkthrough videos (though many of them are speedruns which can be confusing if you don't know the map really well).
More of an exploration/collection/puzzle game with light platforming.
Well worth it at full price, even better on sale.
Despite it taking me a while to finish to 100%, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Excellent game. I was pretty skeptical in the beginning, thinking it was just gonna be a story based walking simulator, but it ended up being a lot more. It ended up being a ps2 feeling, 3d exploration, platforming game without any jump button, collect-a-thon.
I want to point out the story a little bit, without spoilers. The story, while not super deep, was told in a such a fun way with small little side stories that it created a really nice cozy feeling throughout. The graphics also has a really nice cozy italian cobblestone setting too which also adds to the nice feeling.
