Fishing friends is worth the value for the short bit of fun that it grants. Found myself enjoying the the charismatic story-line of each of the characters while enjoying the gameplay that is very similar to stardew valleys fishing system. Personally enjoyed and would give it my recommendation

In any game if there is fishing I want to do it. MMO's, RPG's, Third person action games... doesnt matter the genre, hook line and sinker I will fish. I definitely feel the inspiration come from that and I enjoyed the quirks it added in to make it more challenging compared to those minigames.
When you play this you feel like those who made it did it with passion and probably had fun doing it. Its a nice refreshing feeling you no longer get playing lots of triple A games.
Only downside I see to this, is that as the game is at it most fun and challenging its then over. Considering the price point of £1.69 it would be unfair for me to ask for more.
I really hope we see more games though from these guys.

Super fun, short fishing game (30 mins). Expect dark comedy and a cute art style. If you love fishing in games, go for it and support an indie dev. You have nothing to lose apart from your sanity on the last fish.
Disclaimer: the last fish actually gave me PTSD.

Fishing game is an artistic masterpiece. The story is complex and emotional, and the game-play is easy to get into, but deep and complex once you understand it.
I have never played a more beautiful game.

Fishing game is a really interesting and impressive short game, with some fun gameplay quirks and a diversely presented cast of characters.
The illustration is really unique and definitely the grasping aspect of the game for me. The writing is very silly and not too in-depth, with how the game presents itself in other aspects, I almost wish the game took on a more serious tone with some deeper story elements. The gameplay is fun, I’ve never played stardew valley but the fishing in this game holds a decent difficulty, especially the final level which I really enjoyed.
Overall this game is sweet and as said earlier I love the artstyle, definitely worth the low pricetag!
