About the Game
Your master was a very good alchemist, but it is time for you to become more than an apprentice. You have improved a lot and can create potions that even your master cannot make. There was a need for a young and creative alchemist in a nearby village. Can you sell your potions there and take the first step towards becoming the best alchemist of the middle ages? Now is the time! But it won’t be easy. You’ll be up against some very talented alchemists and you’ll have to be better than them if you have your sights set on the top. Are you still here? Show them how good an alchemist you are!
Collect Materials
Plants, mushrooms, minerals and animal parts are the basic ingredients for creating potions. Take on apprentices and leave them to the resources to gather ingredients. Make no mistake, they will get you the best ingredients. Don’t forget to give them their gold at the end of the day!
Brew Potion
If you have the ingredients, you can make potions. Don’t keep the customers waiting, get to work right away. Don’t forget to use your tool cards while making potions, we’d like to see you as a master alchemist, wouldn’t we?
Sell Potions
Well, you can’t do business on an empty stomach. Let’s make some money. You can earn gold by selling your potions to customers. Don’t forget us if you get rich, okay?
Improve Your Shop
Now that you’ve got the money, why don’t you upgrade your potion shop? You can upgrade all your tool cards and increase their production speed. Of course, if you want to produce The Philosopher’s Stone, that’s up to you.
Attention Attention!
Not everything is so easy, of course there are challenges. Be careful not to be harmed by bandits or wild animals. You can train your apprentices and overcome enemy cards. You can do it, right? Nobody wants to lose their money and leave town.

I'm enjoying this game greatly. Something like Cultist Simulator crossed with Book of Hours, or perhaps Stacklands crossed with Strange Horticulture is fairer, since this game doesn't require you to fail as part of the mechanic. My only gripe really is the cards are very glitchy (it IS in early access) and the words and numbers often partially or completely disappear so I'm guessing. The general mechanisms of the game are lovely and I really enjoy them, far more than I enjoyed the Potion whatsit game, but I look forward (somewhat) impatiently to a day when we're out of testing mode and into smooth sailing. In terms of improvements I'd really love it if we could have some kind of friendly hints around the values on the cards (e.g., why minuses when added can equal a plus value?) and suchlike things.
