Guilt Free
Guilt Free is a visual novel crossed with a point and click made to offer perspective on mental health and eating disorders. Navigate a couple’s rocky relationship and encounter “flaws” or “quirks” that may actually be symptomatic behaviors.
Branching Story
In Guilt Free you play as the partner of someone who is struggling with an eating disorder. It is up to you how to approach her. Will you be loving and supportive? Or will you demand change? The story will change depending on your choices, offering a different experience with each playthrough!
Multiple Endings
Unblock all 5 different endings and see how your actions affected the relationship’s future. Will you get the happy ending?
Exploration
Guilt Free is not a typical Visual Novel. You can explore the house to get more information about the couple’s life and their past. Some of these items will also let you unblock hidden collectibles!

I can't be bothered to get EVERY achievement, not right now as I'm really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tired, but I just want to say this game was painful.
This might be too personal, but whatever. I've struggled with some form of anorexia/bulimia all my life, and, hell, my eating habits look pretty damn similar to Alice right now. Making me feel targeted LMAO.
I've never understood how it is to just...eat normally? Being fine with your weight, eating whatever you want, not obsessing over food... Playing this in the perspective of the non-disordered person feels outlandish. Though it's also making me get how frustrating it must be when someone you love is suffering and you just don't get it.
The writing may not be the best and it's not the most interesting game ever, but it HITS HARD.

it was rlly good, i liked the multiple choice options BUT some things he said was contradictory to my choice. loved the art style, meaning, and plot and depth. very good. wish it was longer tho tbh (ending felt rushed a bit. wish we could see her after she is better)

While I appreciate the attempt to handle sensitive topics, I prefer when games leave room for player interpretation rather than steering me toward a specific “correct” choice. Guilt Free could have been a more powerful experience if it trusted the player’s agency a bit more.
