In the game "Dave the Diver," the player cannot engage in fishing and diving during nighttime. This is necessary to complete the side quest "Noisy Shopper," in which you are required to catch a moray eel during the dark hours. Initial schedule in the game world:
During daylight, you can fish or search for treasures. In the evening, you can return to your restaurant to serve customers and create menus. During this time, you won't be able to engage in diving. If you urgently need to skip some time, you can use the "Time Skip" feature by pressing the "T" key. Use this ability wisely: skipping fishing time will prevent you from replenishing the fish supplies in your restaurant.
Unlocking night diving:
After defeating the Giant Squid at the end of Chapter 1, retrieve the delivery bag from it. Once you resurface, you will have access to the "Deep Sea" flashlight. After interacting with some guests in the restaurant, you will unlock Chapter 2 - "Into the Depths." The first story quest in this chapter is "Going Deeper," and its main objective is to defeat John Watson.
BanchÅ will call you and inform you about a troublesome customer at the sushi bar. This will assign you the quest "Noisy Shopper." Return to the sushi bar, find the customer named Otto wearing a hat, and talk to him. He will demand that you prepare moray curry for him. Hunting for a moray should be done at night, so with the onset of darkness, you can embark on your first nocturnal deep-sea journey.
Please note that nighttime diving will not generate income for your sushi bar, but it will allow you to use new types of fish in your recipes.
How to complete the "Noisy Shopper" quest:
Completing the quest with the moray is not difficult, but don't forget to bring good weapons with you. Once underwater, descend to the depths. It's easy to spot the moray - a long, aggressive fish marked with a blue icon on the map. After catching the moray, visit the sushi bar. When you open the menu window, you will discover several new dishes using the moray. Ask the chef to prepare "Moray Curry" and hand it to Otto. By completing this task, you will unlock the "Fish Farm" - a place to breed fish from the eggs found in underwater chests.
