I want to start off by saying that if you want a playable game that you can spread your boarders and upset the world and deal with the back lash, this is not there yet. I say yes because of the other games that the developers gave up on. This like the others this can be that game everyone wants to play to scratch that geo-political itch. SR2030 was the last game that let the fan base down. They have a sound base, but went on to their next game with out finishing 2030. I am in the corner of this one now because they are not Battle Goat Studios or Golem Labs. I have seen these companies at their best and watched them grab for cash and let the game suffer. This is a young company and I have seen the hunger of a young company create some good things. I am sure this one will. Supreme Ruler(SR) was great in the begining. But the leap from SR2020 to SR2030 was a let down, they are already making their next game and have not even fixed the basic issues that were in the demo. I want to support this game, so maybe it will be the diamond in the ruff.
Right now the game just runs, not much happens. You can change the budget and some laws and see how it effects the overwhelming numbers that it has to throw at you. You can invade the guy next door with out any back lash, you may get condemned by half the world but right now that does not mean much. You can be the GOD of War and make tons of Arms sales to anybody and everybody, but you can't add a single tank to your armed service without an act of congress.(I played as India). You can click on your deployed armies and can not edit them or even see what they consist of. So if you deploy troops you need a good memory so you know what is there. You can merge existing armies, not knowing what is in them of course. When you invade next door you will get a breif run down of the two armies and what they consist of, but after the battle it is next to impossible to tell who and what dies in all the kaos. As India I took control of Nepal and their was no way for me to tell if they were loyal or if they were planning a coo. I have black ops, but I could not put people in there. I can spy on my own people, but not specific regions. I have increased my Cyber security to level 2, but I cant tell if it has done anything for me or not. I have started black ops in Pakistan and Myanmar, but the 1500 days have not ticked off yet, so I don't know what I will be able to do with that. I have auto trade enabled and it seems to be doing well. I clicked on my sectors and saw I wanted some buildings that I was lacking and built a years worth and got some number in the 1000's and I cannot correct or stop it. It has been 2 and a half years and I am still building these buildings with no end in sight and the drag on my budget is getting to me. I want to grow my military, but I need to pass a budget and I have things in my budget that I cant get rid of like the buildings I don't want to be building anymore. I am still stuck on the fact that I can be building up the Russian army and cant add to my own. I can not go around the national blockade of Iran. If I make a deal in secret the whole world knows about it, so why have the secret deals. I have black ops, so why cant I supply them with what ever I want. I sold Launchers for nukes to Palistine with no global feed back and sold them Nuclear missiles for them at a great profit I might add. I am allied with Russia, China and Iran, but that does not mean much. I cant get on the horn with them and say hey I want to invade Nepal, what do you think about that. Or how about China you hit Tiwan and Russia you go into Ukriane and I will Invade Nepal. We can all do this in September of 2021. We cant get together and work against the West. We dont even seem to have any special cases for trading. Yea, we are trade partners, but other than my auto trade I cant get much info from trading.
I click on a country and nothing. I click on a region outside of my country and nothing. I cant tell what is in my units, so there is no way of figuring out what units are on my boarder.
These are all things that should be addressed and I am hopeful that this company wont let us down, so please help support the game.
India now controls the Middle East and has plans on Turkey!

Make sure you read the open letter to the community. This is definitely early access. The game is buggy as heck. Controls are inverted. Certain features like Olympics and space cause werid glitches with menus not displaying. I could go on and on. HOWEVER, this game has more depth than any game in the political sim category I've ever played. If Okron holds true to their word, this will be the greatest political sim ever made.

This is our best chance to play a truly engaging geopolitical game. Let me explain. You have power and revolution as the main competition. What do they do? Every year, they release a brand-new game at full price, leading you to believe it's something new when, in reality, it's just the same old game from the early 2010s. And guess what? the same old bugs—AND EVERY YEAR YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT! What sort of nonsense is that?
-in the space of few months, this game looks and perform better than every other power and revolution !
-a simple example of what you have in the game : they have implemented real world Vehicules and equipement like the famous US tank the abrams, if you want to produce it, first you need a licence by the USA which is really realistic ! you dont want a premade tank ? You can make your own in this game with the Unit Designer tool ! something we wanted for so long in P&R ! this was just a basic examples of things you can do in this game !
this game promises REGULAR UPDATES ! yes they have delays but it is expected knowing they are only 2 developpers working on it ! im a witness of there hardwork, they fix bugs regularly, they take feedback and implement it into the game, heck my own suggestion Made it to the game ! please be patient, this project has an immense potential ! they surely can make it, they can make the BEST GEOPOLITICAL GAME ! all they need is a bit of patience and support.

This is an EARLY ACCESS Game Review!
Before diving into the depths of this game, it's crucial to emphasize it is in the early access phase. It's not a fully-fledged release, nor should it be compared to games that have had years of development and community feedback in early access. If you're not ready to embrace the raw, unpolished potential of a game still finding its feet, then wait for the final release. This title is a labor of love from a small development team, and premature criticism will stifle its growth. Remember Kerbal Space Program!?
Gameplay and Potential
At its core, this game is a deep and complex geopolitical simulator with immense promise. It blends intricate diplomatic, economic, and military systems, offering a depth rarely seen in this genre. The current state of the game showcases a foundational structure with potential. Its vision of global strategy and intricate mechanics is something that could evolve into a genre-defining experience.
Technical Hurdles
However, let's address the elephant in the room - the technical issues. Yes, the game suffers from bugs and UI inconsistencies. Saved games don't always capture all game states, budget settings are lost upon reloading, and the language translations seem rudimentary at best. These are significant hurdles, but they are not indicative of the game's future quality. It's important to remember that these challenges are part of the early access journey, where player feedback is vital for refinement and improvement.
Positives
Rich Geopolitical Simulation: The game offers a comprehensive geopolitical experience, encompassing various aspects such as diplomacy, economy, and military strategy. It covers around 76 countries with detailed data and stats.
Detailed Global Strategy: It provides a depth of strategic gameplay, allowing me to engage in complex global interactions and decision-making.
Ambitious Scope: The scale of the project is impressive, aiming to deliver an expansive and immersive geopolitical simulator that even covers space. It will probably be several years in development before reaching its full potential.
Potential for Future Growth: The game demonstrates significant potential for growth and improvement, with a roadmap indicating future enhancements and features.
Passionate Development Team: The developers show a strong passion and vision for the game, which can drive the game towards a successful final product.
Visually Appealing Interface: The UI, though needing improvement, is fresh and innovative.
Community and Developer Interaction
One of the most heartening aspects of the game is the active involvement of the development team with its community. They are responsive, open to feedback, and genuinely passionate about their project. This engagement is a positive sign, indicating a willingness to grow and adapt based on player input.

It's good, but...
- It's missing a lot of content, even what is already presented in-game lacks text.
- The tutorial is broken.
- There is no autosaves and when you press "quit" either on purpose or accident, it alt-f4's to desktop without a prompt (dangerous combo).
- Currently lacks intuitive controls, I have air squadrons (that look like submarines) that I hardly have a clue to use or deploy.
- Clicking something might select something random. I.e., I clicked in the Red Sea and it selected a New York Airbase while playing as Canada.
- A ton of bugs, such as, random text being displayed at places, the mapmodes are just weird (maybe it's not a bug but I hope it is for their sake), etc.
The goods, however, give this a lot of promise:
- Diplomacy making Geopol Sim look simple, I love reacting and condning world actions.
- A lot more economic depths than similar games.
- SO MUCH GFX! I absolutely love that almost every piece of equipment has GFX, even as just an image. This adds a ton of depth. Even country passports are accurately represented!
- Pandemic simulation (albeit simple for now).
- World events!!!
- Doesn't dilly dally around seeming too "real" unlike some other games... BRICS is called BRICS, NATO is NATO, WB is WB, etc.
- Unit designer, that's pretty awesome.
- Resource management.

Its not there yet, but it gets updates and the developers want to improve. This game has so much potential and I cant wait until it really gets there.
