I've been a Sonic fan for years, and Sonic Mania is exactly the game I've always wanted. The controls are incredibly tight, making every loop and dash feel perfect. They totally nailed the feeling of the old Genesis games but added cool new stuff that makes it even better. The level design is brilliant, and the soundtrack is absolutely killer. Honestly, if you love classic Sonic, this is a must-play.

Very fun game. Every level has something unique going on and new mechanics to handle. As my first game in the series it was unexpectedly hard in some moments which made it frustrating at times

This is one of the best Sonic games to ever grace this planet, if not THE best. Highly replayable, stellar music and sprite work, amazing intro animation, and (should it strike your fancy) pretty moddable. Definitely made by fans, for fans.
If you like Sonic and haven't played it yet, pick it up. If you have never played a Sonic game but want to, pick it up. This was the breath of fresh air this series needed for oh-so-long.

Probably the best Sonic-game out there and a love letter to the Genesis- and CD-era. Studiopolis is just perfection.

I can't believe you can grab this game for £3.74. I bet you'll burn through it in like 3 hours, but it feels like a concise experience that constantly hits you with new scenery, music and mechanics so fast it overwhelms you. The kind of game you play on a whim and before you know it you've beat the whole thing. Somehow it's been 7 years since i first played this, I wish I could wipe my memory and play it again for the first time.
