it ok, definitely not my favorite fan shmup but definitely not my least. that's pretty much how i'd describe every aspect of this game. if you're just getting into these fan projects, I'd recommend hollow song of birds or book of star mythology. If you're experienced with fan shmups, this is certainly worth a playthrough of main game and extra stage, but I can't say for sure if I'll play any more than that.

A Touhou fangame so good that I'd recommend it over a few of the Touhou games themselves. The spell card patterns are especially good. It also has a feature in the options that will slow time down during boss fights, making it quite possibly the absolute best "1st danmaku" game for new shmup players. With time slowed down, you still get to experience the full beauty of the card and do the mechanics as required, but you get more mental bandwidth to weave through the patterns. Great for new shmuppers, and also more experienced ones curious to dip their toes in Lunatic or even LNN to practice the levels of dodging you'll need.
This game would be an absolute steal if it was priced the same as an official Touhou game. The fact that it's free should mean that anyone even slightly interested in Touhou games should have this in their library.

Really fun and challenging! Even on normal difficulty the spells are quite fun and unique, resource gathering is simple and straightforward, no unfair trick patterns or anything like that! All of the characters are fun to play as, and the story is funny and cute. For a free game I would absolutely suggest you give this a try! Extra stage is super fun as well!

To be blunt, this game is too good to be free. The gameplay is good (and very hard, you may have to do hundreds or thousands of attempts to LNN bosses), the quality is amazing, the plot is simple yet great, and there is various add-ons like ura mode and special types of attacks. Also, I forgot to mention the great ost. While you may have to do a stage a billion times, the songs stay good even after all of these attempts. Overall, this is a amazing game and you should try it if you don't mind dying alot.

Very enjoyable Touhou fan game that feels like it belongs among the ranks of PCB and IN. Great spell cards with unique patterns that aren't overly reliant on rote memorization to get the clear. I recommend playing one difficulty level up from what you're used to.
