Wildfox Surfing Paradise is a short, physics-based surfing adventure where you explore a tropical island.
- Show off your best stunts at the beach and earn money from photoshoots
- Surf down massive waterfalls
- Buy new surfboards, like a rocket-powered one, to do even wilder stunts.
The sophisticated fluid simulation makes for a unique gaming experience. While the different stunts are easy to learn you will need some time to get a feeling for your board to master the waves.
The upbeat soundtrack, composed by Elliot Stone, will keep your energy levels high. Every region has its own unique music tracks.
Warning: The Early Access version only includes a tutorial and a single region. Most players will be able to finish all of the current content in 15 to 30 minutes.

I thought this game looked cute and decided to give it a try. I have some positives and negatives about the game.
Positives:
-Adorable art style
-Creative character design
-Unique game mechanic of water surfing
-Instructions are simple and easy to follow
Negatives:
-Controls are hard to get used too. Found myself drowning most of the time
-Water mechanics are wonky. Feels more like I'm surfing through gel than water. My board cuts through the water and prevents me from going back to the water's surface without me having to surf back to the top.
-Lack of pause menu. Would be nice to have one to change the controls of to adjust the volume. If there is one already in the game, I haven't found it yet.
-Does not mention that the game is controller compatible. I find the game to be easier with a controller, but the game never mentions you could do this. Interaction buttons are still keyboard keys when a controller is hooked up.
Recommended adjustments:
-Make the water more like water. The physics make it difficult to surf. I'm stuck on the 2nd challenge due to not being able to surf properly.
-Make some of the ledges taller to allow players to perform tricks easier in the tutorial level.
-Fix the wave machine on the 2nd photoshoot challenge. It's hard to ride a wave with the current water physics.
-Maybe have a different jumping sound effect. It's too loud at regular volume and sounds more like a video game jump.
Hope my feedback helps to improve this early access game! I can't wait to see this game in it's full release.
