the first thing most people will notice is the overwhelming cute graphic. and that is true! the dough are adorable!
there's even a bunch of cutscenes too in the early game that really sells that cuteness.
after that, the catch is the music, which is a lot of fun to listen to!
unfortunately the core game cycle is quite bland at the moment, especially the balancing. it's not like overcook where it's obvious what you must do to get the max stars (three). after some trial and error you will get it, but it's not easy, even at early levels... you need to put some efforts to get it.
problem is, there isn't really much of a need to push yourself to get the max stars, since even with 1 star you unlock the next level automatically, unless you want to unlock shortcuts.. which i dont really see the necessity for..
lastly is there is currently no single player, so if you dont have another player playing with you (couch coop) or a friend that buys the game with you, you're out of luck, since there isnt a lobby or mm as of yet.
i think this last point definitely is the breaking point for you to consider buying or not..

a slightly different variant of overcook with special ability and pros/cons for each character. same amount of fun. even better, this game support remote play together, so only 1 of your friend need to own the game and up to 4 friends can play together. win-win-win-win.

There's lots of love and effort put into this game. The breads are super adorable! While you can play the game with 2 players, it definitely gets more fun if you've got a full party. There are a couple of levels that could be balanced a little better. In some you can get away with camp stacking the spawners which can get quite mundane. But you'll realize there's a wide range of difficulty once you play the stormy levels or try to complete each level with 3 coins. The highlights for me are the boss levels. My hands got real sweaty taking them on.

I really liked the game! Cute and a'dough'able buns!
It's a funny and chaotic game with good music and gameplay. The tutorials are so cute!
We're still learning to play it, so we usually restart levels trying to get 3 stars. Higher levels, more chaos!
The gameplay could improve a bit but it's playable. The first boss level 'Mad Mask' was bugged and we played 3 times 'till get 1 star.
Highly recommend it to spend time and laugh with your friends.

A very smooth, highly fun cooperative / party game with a lot content. There are 3 islands full to the brim with various maps, and there are stormy and mushroom infected challange version available for every single stage too, altering the map or the challange slightly. In this game, you play as various characters who want to bake together, and the dough is actually alive, shaped in various cute animals: be that the suicidal dodo bird, or the monkey that protects the other dough from infesting mushrooms, or the nifty desert fox that happily runs across the quicksand you sink into on the desert island. They spawn and wander around, and your job simple: pick them up, throw them into each other to make them grow, and when you think it's big enough, throw them into the oven TO BURN THEM ALIVE, MUHAAHAHAWA! No really, that's the game. And it's waaay cuter than you'd think, and can be quite challenging too! The smooth optimization, the varied character powers, the creative maps the simplicity of all of it makes this one of the perfect coop party games on the list of "Overcooked genre" games, because of just how smooth the experience is and how much freedom there is in achieving your goals. Highly recommended if you have a loved one and/or friends to play with.

My first impressions before playing the game was ah it's like Overcooked! But once I got my hands on it, it provides a whole new experience in the cooking party game genre. Interesting mechanics, fending off annoying moulds trying to get to your precious buns. The perfect setting for a chaotic fun time. Great party game to play with your friends, highly recommend.
Just make sure you have other buddies to play with or hop onto a discord server to find players, as they currently do not have a match making option and you will need to have at least 2 players to play.

I love it. The gameloop is easy to pick, difficult to master, and is increasingly rewarding as you play more of it.
