As a game it's pretty cool, very enjoyable in all aspects. As a sequel? it's... fine I guess.
First of all, love the designs, with a lot of emphasis on the expressions, the silliness and the grotesque, although here there are actual colors for everything. I like the hand extending through the screen for the interactions and the puzzles stay the same as before, not too complicated but some are more about trial and error.
From the first game to this one there's been quite the changes on the artstyle, mostly staying the same with the inspiration to old cartoons, but it did lose a lot of the horror factor, especially the tension, and the designs of the monster are not that interesting this time around. Also, despite being called bulb boy, there is no focus on the light anymore? it was one of the better parts before but now every scenario, puzzle and encounter is very bright.
It feels more like a filler episode than the continuation of the first game, to me is considerably less memorable, but it is still a lot of fun for the short duration, so I do recommended if it catches your attention.

i was waiting 6 years for silksong, waiting this out for some reason felt harder.the game and visual style had a unique beauty even tho there were some SLIGHT visual glitches.compared to the first game i really liked the character expressions , everything felt more lively and the fact that i understood the plot without any text or talking (besides gibberish) is crazy, a thousand words cant tell such an interesting story .the level designs and the storytelling that came with it was awesome. well spent 10 euros... also... CHECK THE SCENE AFTER THE CREDITS. BULB BOY 3 CONFIRMED

I enjoyed this game and would definitely recommend it. There were a couple of bugs in the initial release, but I believe they have been fixed. Also, there were a couple of spots where I wasn’t at all sure what needed to be done, or spots where I was sure of what to do, but unsure of how to do it…but I never got stuck for too long. And I will say that I actually liked the decision to add more colors as opposed to the first game which was monochromatic—though I liked that about the first game, it was nice to see the unique and adorable art style in full color for this sequel.

I was excited for this game when it came out. I really enjoyed the art style, but the boss fight at the end was kind of annoying. Overall, I like the first game more than this one, but this is still worth checking out.

Man this game was weird, gross and just plain odd and I LOVED every second of it! All of the charm that made the previous game so great is here too and in color, making the visuals real appealing and so fun to just sit and admire. Great continuation! Would love to see more in this universe :)

Little expensive for only a 2 hour game and wish it had more bosses like the first game but it was still really fun to play and really enjoyed it

A fantastic follow-up to the original. I loved how it keeps the creepy cute art style from the first game but adds more detail and personality to every room. The puzzles feel smarter and more varied, and the jam jar storyline is weird in the best way.
