From the creators of Tower of Guns, MOTHERGUNSHIP mixes bullet-hell intensity with the FPS genre and promises you one of the largest gun customization options seen in video games. It’s up to you to equip your over-the-top arsenal and defeat a robotic alien armada that has conquered Earth. Craft gun monstrosities that no reasonable person could ever lift, play together with your friends, fight gigantic bosses and experience randomized mayhem as you battle your way to the heart of the fleet to destroy the MOTHERGUNSHIP!

its a unexpected treat of a game. i was almost expecting to not like the game but the game has its "stupid fun" charm despite it holding a description like "bullet hell" to make you think you are just gonna be people a game just for the challenge. the humor is a nice cherry on top too, so if you think you'll like this game, then go for it because i didnt regret it and i dont think you will either

enjoyable and cozy, biggest complaint is how the game forces open my browser to ask to link to epic once every session.

Great game, but has a serious issue with ignoring mouse click inputs for firing the guns (yes, they're fully-charged) which kinda spoils it a bit.

an absolute great fps roguelike still at the end of 2024 you can dump heaps of hours into it and just keep coming back.

Good story and fantastic game idea, but poorly executed.

After over 100 hrs playing Mothergunship, it remains my absolute favorite rogue-lite. I have played countless games in this genre each year and 7 years after release, its still at the top of my list. GG!

MOTHERGUNSHIP brings a fresh and unique take on the boomer shooter FPS genre by introducing roguelike elements and full intuitive weapon customization. Fresh gameplay elements are backed by witty writing and great graphics, animation, voice acting. In other words, it should be a no-brainer.
Some lesser things:
- There's been no updates since 2022
- Some runs can take pretty long. Often I find myself having to scout an entire room just to find that last hidden enemy.
- Your weapons are pretty overkill and spamming jump will avoid most bullets, so often times you feel like you're literally power washing a room rather than killing enemies.
Concerning "Epic Games Login", tbh I barely even noticed, it's a one-click-thing if you already have an account.
