Missing Pictures: Tsai Ming-Liang
Tsai Ming-Liang, the Taiwanese maestro of slow cinema, doesn’t have a real “missing picture”. But what he does have are childhood memories, so vivid that he told us why it is impossible for him to film it, in a moving tribute to his grandparents who took him to see two movies every night.

Missing Pictures : Tsai Ming-Liang is a free VR experience about a movie that was never made. It worked on my Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Tsai Ming-Liang, the Taiwanese maestro of slow cinema, doesn’t have a real “missing picture”. Shot in volumetric capture of the filmmaker Tsai Ming-Liang, which looked pretty good.
CONS: - Might have to play with the bindings to setup a trigger to right and left controllers.
Maybe check this out if you like movies or movie making or are a producer or movie studio exec looking for a project.

This is a 12 minute, purely cinematic 360 VR movie short. There are no interactions. It is fully voiced & available in several languages, including English. This is a story about a Malaysian kid who had a special relationship with his grandfather. The story is bittersweet. However, we see the origins of the author's love of cinema from this experience.
Of the 3 movie shorts from the Missing Pictures series, I have seen so far, this is the best one. It's free. I do recommend it.

Before I played Missing Pictures: Tsai Ming-Lang, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
