I'd give it a mixed if I could, solely because the last boss has tons of problems. The game isn't perfect before that, but the issues are easier to overlook before then.
The idea is cute, it's just a shame that the right analog aiming sucks on controller, mouse is 100% better there but movement is better on a controller but jumping and throwing are mapped to the shoulder buttons for some reason. I just used a controller to move and used the mouse to aim at the same time. Not ideal but better.
The levels are mostly fun, but 12 and 15 are really annoying because if you die during a level you start over. Each level consists of three chickens to hit with the frisbee then you grab the crystal. 12 was the worst of them all. There's just a really big issue of judging depth in the way the camera is set so when you have to do specific jumps or go in a portal with the proper momentum it's annoying. Too much trial and error for that. At least let people start from the crystal if they die having completed the chickens. 15 was also annoying with trial and error.
But to the final boss portion. I was going in it feeling pretty good about the game, but then you have to hit a giant chicken with the frisbee like 4-5 times over 4 (?) different maps which is tedious. If you die you start over.
I beat that, it wasn't toooooo bad but it wasn't very fun either due to breaking the rule of threes. Then however you have to do a 'run away' sequence, thankfully there is a checkpoint at the start because this is where all the problems are located. Momentum gets completely stopped at times, you hit invisible walls while jumping, you don't properly jump upwards, you'll slide off platforms sometimes randomly like being pushed off. It took me from a flawed, but very positive opinion on the game to almost hating it very quickly.
Oh I nearly forgot the hub, the hub is not ideal for the level selection. It's neat there's hidden colored skins for your frisbee though. But there's a little platform that you have to ride at certain points for a couple of the levels and to get to the final boss but there's just one. And the track is looong, if you miss it you have to wait nearly 40 seconds for it to roll around. And a chicken will end up on it if you miss it so you have to shoot it off, if you fail to kill it you have to wait again. Fun. And you start at the same spot of the hub after every level making you run all the way back to where you left off which is annoying on it's own.
If you can overlook the issues then it's certainly fun overall to play, it's just something to be aware of if you're looking to pick up the game. I wish the boss run would be fixed for future potential players. It really does sour the experience quite a bit.
