This is a great game IF you understand what you are getting.
This is not even in the same league as an Ori And the Blind Forest or Crash. In fact, it isn't that good looking and more akin to an NES game.
That being said, it is fun, fair, and cool to see the enemies splatter in red upon hit. :)

I've been playing this game for about 30 minutes i'm already enjoying it.
It features 4K resolution support and features a decent little sound track.
Controls and graphics can be changed with the launcher, something you might want to do
as some keyboard players might struggle with the defaults (which are fire and jump are right/left ALT)
But, saying that after about 10 minutes of playing it actually works really well for this type of game!
The game is a platformer and built on Unity and features everything you'd expect to
see in a 16BIT title from the 1990s.
It's a mixture of superfrog, castlevania & alex kid.
The game is all about watching your timings and performing jumps / moving camera positions
to reach the end of the level, and a nice touch for me is hunting down the secret areas.
You can collect power ups in the game, like special shoes that give you double jump e.t.c.
I rate this game 8-10 and recommend it for any retro players out there. The developer has done a great job with this title and i'd like to send my thanks for letting me sample this game, i will play allot more when i have some free time!

The game is great, After reading the intro, that yes, it is a bit long, but I do feel curious about finding out more. The gameplay is really enjoyable, the game mechanics are very well implemented, and the controls feel responsive, which is important because it is not an easy platformer as it might seem from the trailer.
The graphics are a tad unrefined, even compared to similar graphic styles like Stardew Valley. What's interesting is the soundtrack which sounds 16bit, I'm pretty sure is by design, and it works so well with the game.
