Barebones but solid puzzle game. Hexcells' ugly cousin. The first half of the puzzles (up to 3-6 or so) feels like a tutorial, but just when I was worrying that the puzzles would never become truly... puzzling, they did become more interesting. And the final few puzzles, plus a few of the bonus puzzles, are real nailbiters.
The aesthetics are functional at best. They don't directly detract from the gameplay, but having played Hexcells, I imagine that this game would feel much more enjoyable with a better presentation.
Bonus points for the draw-on-screen mode for note-taking. I first encountered it in Tametsi, and I've been in love ever since. Any worthy logic puzzle game where you can't hold all information in your head should feature a way to draw on-screen.
PS: If you enjoyed this game, and have already played Hexcells, I highly recommend Tametsi. It's similarly barebones, but has some interesting innovations of its own, and it's *huge*.

Excellent little pure deduction game. Sure bet for fans of Hexcells or Tametsi. Runs great on Linux.
