This is my favorite game of all time, thank you DougDoug and PeanutButterGamer for showing me this masterpiece.

This is the best video game I have ever played. I was in a rough mental state when I first found this game. It changed my life entirely. After my wife left me and my kids disowned me, I felt like it was all over. Then, my favourite YouTuber "DougDoug: Published Author" played this game. I thought it looked fun, so I spent £4.99 Great British Pounds on this game. That was the best £4.99 of my entire life. When I first played this game, it was the most life-changing experience of my life. People say games like "Red Dead Redemption II" or "Cyberpunk 2077" are the greatest games they have ever played, but they are wrong. This game gave me a new mindset, a new outlook on life and has got me a new wife. I love you Pajama Sam.

I loved playing this game since i was a kid. I especially remember the cheese and crackers scene and I even played cheese and crackers for real with my parents. Havarti and Provolone, one time when my mom went grocery shopping she found some Havarti and Provolone and she rememberd Sam and the toaster saying them.

Honestly I was surprised how much I enjoyed playing this game as an adult, while never actually playing Pajamas Sam games as a kid.
Yes, it's gameplay is simple, but not Putt Putt levels of simple. For example, characters don't straight up tell you where all the needed items are, or Sam doesn't say "hey, I already have a solution for X thing", it's a small difference between PS and Putt Putt which makes PS so much more enjoyable to play. It's just fun solving item puzzles here in general, like how to go past the tree guards, or how you supposed to get the paddles for the boat etc
Also I rarely compliment graphics/backgrounds designs, but man does it look good here, you genuinely feel like you got sucked into a comic book, from the forest to the mines to the river to the caves to darkness castle, it all looks memorable, so iconic!
Lastly, most Humongous Entertainment games biggest strength is the charm of their games, making first playthrough almost magical in the feel, but I think PJ is probably even better in this aspect then both Freddi Fish and especially Putt Putt series. From the premise being a kid afraid of the dark, and trying to conquer it, to the characters you meet along the way, to even humour(which the game doesn't actually try hard to go for here, unlike in Putt Putt, while PJ actually was surprisingly funny), it all just works together to bring you that cozy, laid back, experience of childhood and nostalgia(even if you didn't actually play Pajamas Sam games in the childhood, kinda like me)
So yeah, unlike Putt Putt series, I can actually genuinely recommend trying Pajama Sam 1 here to ANY fan of casual point and click adventures, wether a kid or an adult, I think most can find joy from experiencing this game :D

I played this game as a child. Now I have a child who is getting to almost the same age that I was when I played it, so naturally, I bought this game, and several others by the same company. I grew up on these games and absolutely LOVE them. I can't wait for my kid to get that same experience.

This game is like a needle in a haystack, still fun to play even if youre way too old to be playing stuff like this.

Loved the secret Shadow sam fight, its insanely hard on Impossible+5 (No lunchbox No darknesses Grace) but its super rewarding as it gives the golden pajama mask.
