Cardiac Powder is a nervous twin stick shooter where you have a bomb in you, if you can’t maintain a certain heart rate, it will explode… So one thing to do is keep you in action by fighting your opponents! You are a paid assassin, who wakes up with a clear message: “Be fast… or explode!” This threat will be stopped as soon as you accomplish the assigned mission… until the next one…
So, each assigned mission will force you to clean in a fast way every area that you will have to go to.
During missions, you will experiment:
- Frenetic action: you will be able to shoot, move fast and dodge bullets, but you won’t be able to stay too calm otherwise you will finish in tiny pieces…
- Fury Mode: if you play extremely well, your heart rate will go very high, which will allow you to surpass human capabilities by going faster in every ways than ordinary mortals, even that damage doesn’t matter anymore
- Pick up weapons on your path: don’t hesitate to try every weapon that you will find, on your enemies or even in the scenery

Good core gameplay but it could use some work.
I hope this review doesn’t come off as too negative as the core gameplay of quick kills and John Wick style room clearing is fun but, there are a few issues. The biggest one is that level switching occasionally crashes the game and progression is not saved before then. The lock on should really switch targets by mouse movement or at least auto switch when a melee guy is right next to you. There are too many small objects in the environment to get caught on, especially when using a keyboard. The health drain is too harsh for not killing enemies considering that the levels are not perfectly linear. Hope this helps you improve the game it has a lot of potential.
