In the dark lands inspired by Slavic myth, life is a struggle for survival against ever increasing odds, be it natural or malevolent. The player takes on a role of a deity from the Slavic mythology-inspired pantheon and as such, controls the fate of a small flock of believers struggling for survival. This goal can be achieved in many ways, from diplomacy to war, from exploring to conquering, but any playstyle will surely lead to completely unique adventures thanks to the procedurally generated environments. Rich options, from crafting to town-building system, as well as the co-op multiplayer gameplay, make Thea 2 an ideal choice for tactically minded players, who are up for a challenge.

I prefer Thea 1 and have only played 2 for 40+ hours BUT I like it for its ease and overall update in game play compared with Thea 1. combat is much easier as is crafting and gathering. There is more of a build up in challenges and each island gives you a higher level of difficulty.

I played Thea 1 and I thought that was a fun game... then I was like, "hay, Thea 2 has multiplayer, let's try it with friends" and OH MY GOD! We've spent 130 hours in the game in the last 2 weeks and we all have full time jobs. The game is soo much fun!! Only not so fun thing is there are still several noticeable bugs, almost all of which are not game breaking and only mildly annoying.

Great game, I loved Thea 1, this was an unexpected change compared to the first but still fun. Avoid the switch port that's where I got it first and ended up wasting my money.

Enjoying this more than I thought I would. Plenty of random events to keep it very interesting. Fun to play and very nice to look at because of colors and textures. Especially fun to get new additions to the group. I just play the auto resolve in battles, so not sure how the manual battles are! The manual battles are a card game, so if you do not like that, auto-resolve is an option. If you already own Thea 1, you save another 2 dollars buying the package offered. I like better then first game.

This is the best!
The core gameplay is very nice, it is fun to roam around the country with your bunch of merry dudebros.
- Main character in this gameplay is the rat
- Cannot hold a light wand or get on a horse, can equip a heavy suit of armor
- Friends with a white bear
- Bear cooks breakfast and makes sure everyone's religious needs are met
- Go into a dating game
- Anthropomorphic fishman joins party!
- Fishman is so charismatic he makes out with all subsequent encountered bandits
- Fishman and bear have a baby, it looks like a human but has high stats
- The rat saves the world in the end
