NO RELOADING
Has this ever happened to you? You’re a sentient robot traversing the galaxy looking for dog food for your favorite pooch, when a bunch of nasty goblins dognap your best friend and wreck your ship? Then you have to fight wave after wave of the goblin horde, just to get your dog back? We’ve all been there, right?
If this doesn’t ring a bell, get ready: the adventure you’re embarking on is a single-player shooter featuring cinematic action, irreverent humor, and one simple rule: NO RELOADING.

A Robot with Swagger
You are Roger, a robotic wanderer with all sorts of fantastical technologies including totally overpowered tractor-beam arms and legs. You’re a bit of a wise-ass, but you’re good with a gun and aren’t afraid to fight dirty… listen, whatever it takes to rescue your only friend in the universe from goblin clutches, amiright?
Stylish Mayhem
These goblins just keep coming so there’s no limit to the punishment you can inflict upon these intergalactic dognappers: throw ‘em against the wall, shoot ‘em with their own gun, blow ‘em to smithereens… sky’s the limit. As you accrue abilities, you will soon become an unstoppable force, capable of sliding, stomping, grabbing, throwing, and even slowing down time itself!
Environmental Destruction
Wanna break some stuff? We got hundreds of hand-crafted, interactable, destructible props and environment pieces for you to take out your aggression. Throw kitchen knives at enemies, launch a cargo crate into a security bot’s cranium, explode questionable containers of fluid, and more! Go ahead and start smashing, we guarantee you’ll feel better.
Dynamic Encounters
Goblins aren’t known to be the brightest pickles in the patch (read: they’re dumb), but when working together, they can be surprisingly adept! Prepare to face off against legions of baddies from lowly security guards to berserker warrior gods, security drones to massive war mechs and more… hey, it’s a big galaxy with a lot of nasty things in it.
Quit stalling!
What are you waiting for? A formal invite? Play the free demo now… your doggy needs you!
Just remember… NO RELOADING!

I first encountered NO RELOADING at Dreamhack Atlanta, the game itself stood out, The Development team eager to display their product and people flocked to play!
Ever since I first sat down and played at the convention I was hooked! I then joined the playtest group and was able to enjoy the game streaming it to others mainly showcasing the "Streamer Mode" which is the seamless Twitch Integration function they cooked up for chat to make the streamers life harder and a bigger challenge than the game normally offers!
I was over the moon when NO RELOADING Early Access dropped and instantly picked it up! Now able to stay up to date and enjoy the game in it's entirety, but whats even more amazing than the 15$ Price tag and endless replayability , is the fact that the developers are very involved with the community they have built, they are very transparant with their work showcasing the roadmap ingame as well as always taking in our thoughts and ideas to help improve NO RELOADING.
True me when I say this game is a steal, ESPECIALLY if you're a content creator!

Old-School Thrills, Modern Challenge – 'No Reloading' is a Hidden Gem
If you crave the fast-paced intensity of classic shooters, 'No Reloading' is a must-try! Don't let the charming retro UI fool you - this deceptively simple shooter packs a punch that'll test your reflexes.
I was pleasantly surprised by how accessible the game is - even my old laptop ran it like a dream. The step-by-step tutorial is a great touch, and as I levelled up my skills, the challenge ramped up perfectly. Oh, and those slow-mo moments? Pure action-hero satisfaction!
If you're looking for a fresh take on the shooter genre with that addictive old-school flavour, 'No Reloading' is absolutely worth checking out.

I played this game during the playtest beta, and ive gotta say, I had way too much fun being jumped by troves of enemies. The game was magnificent during the beta because the creator put so much effort into making sure there was always something new for us to see during the beta. Now im playing the early access and its gotten so much better! Hordes of spiders, Rock chickens, and explosions everywhere....... I may be addicted.

Everything I wrote for the playtest version is true for this one. Buy it if you want nonstop action with movement more complex than infinitely strafing.

This game is a hidden gem. It's a roguelike with meta progression in the form of unlocking upgrade choices when leveling- such as more damage, more accuracy, more etc while jumping/sliding etc, stat upgrades for weapons, theres a lot. The numbers rolled for upgrades can occasionally be absolutely insane- like increasing your kick range by 800%, something like that, which makes for hilarious runs.
the game performs like butter, it's very well optimized to a shocking degree for a solo-dev game, especially considering the unique mechanics and way things are calculated for score and such. Framerate addicts can easily hold a solid 240 fps while playing.
I suck at writing reviews, buy the game its sick.

NOTE: While at the start of this review I don't have very much playtime, I have extensively played the pre-release Play Test version. My profile will show 60+hours. Though admittedly with AFK time it's probably in the 30+ hour range.
NO RELOADING is a very fun roguelite + third person shooter than leans heavily on the "stylish" aspect of combat. The most recognisable influence at first would be games like Max Payne and Dead to Rights with their diving, bullet time abilities. As the game progresses, however, you will unlock a plethora of abilities that add to your stylish arsenal. Everything from running along walls, to deflecting projectiles back at enemies, to cartwheels, to power slides, etc... You will become a robot parkour ninja killing machine.
The sheer number of abilities that become available to you starts as potentially overwhelming. But the way the game gives incentive to use them by chaining them together, delivering you more HP back on a kill (or XP if at full health), you will find yourself exploring more and more of these abilities. Before you know it, it feels natural to combine them all in extremely fun ways.
Not to mention on top of all that? It's a roguelite. Each run you will also get choices of modifiers to each of these fun abilities, and more. There is a lot of depth to be had in the various builds you can gear toward throughout a run.
Overall I really, really enjoy playing this game. I always find myself returning to the main hub (The Construct) and immediately darting back toward the start gate for a new run.
8/10, highly recommended for fans of shooters and roguelites alike.
