Wishlist our new game:
the Game superstar is a short visual novel (yep, again) about a guy who meets a formaly famous model Linda, whose career is at the bottom. However, thanks to his skills and knowledge, they might have a chance to bring her back to glory, but first they have to resolve the biggest problem Linda has – her very own personality.
Furry Superstar is a story about love and self-improvement, about dealing with midlife crisis and its consequences, about the problems of being a celebrity. Help Linda, try to know her better and become the person who’ll make her happy.

This game is very well made and incredibly sweet. Seeing Linda grow and learn to love and accept herself was so heartwarming. Learning and accepting that she is more than her career and that her age does not make her less. The artwork is amazing and the writing is great. There's actual substance to the relationship between the MC and Linda, they genuinely care for each other and respect one another as people. also as a poc i enjoyed that MC is not horribly pale and has melanin

Another kinetic novel brought to you by Dirty Fox Games, the people responsible for My Furry Dictator, My Furry Stepmom, My Furry Protogen, and Furry Boss...I'm honestly not sure why they started to drop the "My" from their titles, but given that I found both this and Boss to be of overall better quality than many of their earlier works, maybe it's a good sign.
The roughly-two-hours-long story is fantastic, if you're the kind of person that wants to read a romance with all of the sexual stuff held off until the end when the relationship between main characters is firmly established, which I most definitely am. Watching titular Superstar Linda Miller be someone that's already been used and abused by the industry but able to regain her passion for it with the protagonist's help made for a compelling character arc, far more interesting than it would've been to focus on someone younger and more naive that inexplicably gets world renown with just a can-do spirit. The visuals are fantastic; lots of detailed backgrounds, five different Adult sequences (though the first is just a photoshoot with the main character having an active imagination towards the end), and while Linda Miller is the only character with a full portrait, she has a LOT of costumes to make up for it, which makes sense as someone that's supposed to be a model: 6 outfits, 2 modest lingerie, plus 1 immodest lingerie and a clothes-free look if you have Adult content enabled. The ambient music's good; nothing stood out to me, but there was also nothing I can complain about. In fact, I dare say that having the music for intimate scenes be sensual but unremarkable is actually better than the sudden faux-saxophones of their earliest stories.
However, just because this is better quality than past works, it doesn't mean it's perfect. Despite having a credited proofreader, one or two typos still managed to slip through; most memorably, "remeber what I said" instead of "remember". And unlike most of Dirty Fox Games's other stories in this style, there is no gallery available from the main menu, which means you'll have to reload a save from near the end of the story (or skip through everything if you forgot to save) to revisit the images made available through the free DLC content.
In the end, as someone that's somehow compulsed to review the majority of their catalogue despite the risk of being abused by internet trolls, this is honestly one of my favourite works by Dirty Fox Games so far; a shining superstar among the schlock.

It's very refreshing to see the quality in both art and writing improve with these games over time. Well done.

A riveting story about a canine anthro's rapid rise to fame, hard downfall and smashing redux as a superstar. The quality writing and detailed backgrounds makes this a worthwhile read at a reasonable price.
