Hex & Tricks is a story-driven card game with lots of puzzles !
Explore a strange witch world and summon little monsters while cooking weird ingredients to trigger special effects with the magic cauldron.
As the old witch card game “Cursed Cauldron” gets back popularity, a young boy by the name of Ethan finds a new passion for it. Completly obsessed with his new passion he gets overwhelmed by his own thoughts in his dreams and gets transported in the mysthic universe of the game.
Explore this fantasy world along his side to help a lost creature find his owner back.

It has a pretty fun mechanic, definitely something Inscryption players would enjoy, it also has a bit of story and progressions, puzzles as well, which I love because most card games are just roguelike bores with no sense of giving you something to learn or experience outside of the mechanics.

It's an awesome little single player CCG!
The best comparison is Undertale meets Card City Nights. It has a nice story with peppy characters.
For cardgame nerds like me, the cardgame here is interesting and original. The ingredient mechanic in particular is very cool play on "one-time spells". Give it a go for that alone.
Hope more people check it out, the game deserves it <3. Looking forward to it getting more content.
As a final bonus: Absolute killer soundtrack.

A good RPGMaker style game mixed with a good card game, took me a wile to get into but that card game works well and the narrative part is seriously done.
Unfortunately I didn't finish the game because I reached an area with a lot of little puzzles to solve, and this is the kind of square puzzle that's almost entirely brute-force to solve, not fun to play at all, and it it just goes on forever. It kinda ruins the game tbh.
But it still deserves a thumb up, just be warned there's this bad puzzle sequence. The game is globally better than a lot of games sold here, this is probably someone's magnum opus, though I wish jRPG creators moved away from the same puerile settings and managed to deliver a story that isn't centered on the bedroom of a rich western neet kid for once.

MAGIC THE GATHERING BUT YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THE DARK WEB EVERY TURN FOR BETTER MONSTERS CAW CAW.
THAT KIND OF DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF HAVING DIFFERENT STYLES OF DECKS IF YOU CAN JUST GRAB MONSTERS FROM THE BLACK MARKET CAW CAW.
ALSO THIS LADY IS BEING A TWAT FOR NOT WANTING TO HELP WITH MATH LESSONS CAW CAW, THEN DON'T SHOW ME YOUR DUMB CARD GAME IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GIVE ME MATH LESSONS CAW CAW.
