PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX+ - Honestly, I've played the OG pacman game and this one is a lot better! You have a couple of challenges and the more you eat, the faster the game gets, really addictive gameplay!

Very easy achievements. Still the game is very addictive and fun with its gameplay and visual candy.
If you encounter a glitch that keeps loading on the title screen forever you have to disable cloud saving.
When prompted by Steam pick to load from local files but don't start the game. Now go to settings and disable cloud saving for this game and you shouldn't encounter any other issues.

Fun pac-man game, easy 100% achievements. Worth it at full price, and at the current 75% off very worth it.

Great game, amazing good locking art style, the music its amazing, the sound fx, and visual fx, it has leader-boards, lot of maps, and reskinned stuff, maybe some old school pac-man fans will get angry at me for saying this, but this is my favorite pac-man, its very accessible for bad players, you got slow mo every time a ghost is about to touch you, etc. the game got achievements and steam cards, cant complain at all.

Coming from the original Pac-Man Championship Edition, while the game was fun as an arcade game it felt somewhat repetitive after earning its achievements and trying to maximize one's high score. The gameplay while innovative for the original Pac-Man formula could get tiresome so something fresh would have been more than welcomed. This game is that... mostly.

For starters the gameplay dynamic is much more frenetic as you have to form ghost queues behind you in order to form chains that will pretty much give you a dopamine fest of points flying across the screen. Forming those queues is the main attraction as you have to quickly react to the way each maze forms on each side of the screen after getting the fruits in response to obtaining all of the pellets.

Meanwhile, as you eat more ghosts and progress through the level, much like in its predecessor the game speed ramps up although this time it feels faster probably to the numbers of ghosts chasing you. So you may end up the 10 minute trials with mental fatigue due to how many stimulants come from the screen in the different visuals you can set wit their respective BGM. Indeed, presentation wise this was clearly an improvement and the maze variation made it more replayable and full of content.

Speaking of which, there are time trials now, which test your ability to quickly pay attention to pellet patterns as well as the ghosts, and can serve as practice for the 5 minute and 10 runs. There are also ghost combo runs where, as the name implies, you try to chain as many combos as you can under 10 minutes. As a side note, in this mode you can stop as soon as you get a highscore but for some reason my input wouldn't register so I had to get through them in their entirety every single time.

In any case, the game is far from perfect as with its predecessor more achievements would have been a better motivation to try out all the mazes which after a couple of hours of playtime fall into the same repetitive cycle as before. Also, I purchased the DLC maps in order to test them out and witness if they were worth their price and considering that they are just 2 mazes and the PAC is back skin looks the ugliest I'd rather get it in a combo in case you wanna try them out for curiosity's sake.

All in all, while being more filled with content than the original version, this one still struggles at point to keep things fresh. Still, it offers more modes, a ranking and a better presentation that can keep arcade fanatics engaged.

I actually do like this game because is more fun than the other PAC-MAN games, but I still like it thanks for making this game creator.

This game is Pac-Man ON STEROIDS, it is Pac-Man going at 150 miles per hour, while luring every ghost just to eat them. There's something oddly satisfying about this, that i can't explain.
It has a lot of asthetic modes to fit your nostalgia, and it covers a lot of Pac-Man visuals from older pac-man games. but at heart it is a score attack game and an arcade game.
If you ever thought pac-man was a boring ancient arcade game, you haven't played this, and it's a lot of fun.
