About the GameTake on the role of Annie, a low level employee of the SCP Foundation. A covert organization meant to secure and contain anomalous entities and protect the general public from them.
Why has an organization with the motto “Secure, Contain, Protect” created a division for replicating paranormal events and anomalous entities? Why are you tasked with repeatedly testing the same replicas, with a seemingly never changing outcome? You will need to make drastic decisions to uncover your true purpose and alter the course of your fate.
A Weird First Person Horror Experience.
- Twisted gameplay mechanics: utilize existing and original anomalies to solve puzzles and navigate levels.
- Explore the facility: every level is a sandbox with multiple paths, secrets and choices that shape the outcome of your story.
- Take the wheel: cutscenes don’t take you from place to place. You will need to drive through the foggy landscape beyond the facility in order to reach your ultimate goal.
- Our take on the SCP Universe: if you’re familiar with the stories of the SCP Foundation, you might find we’ve made surprising changes to them. Besides the most popular ones, you will meet and interact with many hidden gems of the SCP Foundation Wiki.

As someone who hits up both horror and scifi games pretty hard, This really had a lot for me to like. People should be trying this.
I purchased and played this AFTER the recent horror additions. I'm glad I gave it a shot :) It's really only horror scifi in the same way that ALAN WAKE or CONTROL is Horror scifi. It's closer to something like those, or even IN SOUND MIND, which I also recommend. It isn't designed for jump scares, an you're not being hunted through the whole game.
The game design overall is a good mix
The game itself throws a curveball right off the bat which I liked. A little misdirection to play the player for a bit, then it opens up into a fun and imaginative romp of sorts throughout a facility of interesting visual set pieces and some surprisingly excellent voice work overall, for a game of this budget. (actually the voice works better than more than a few AAA lately) And as you progress you are unravelling the mystery of your connection to the SCP anomaly while interacting with other fun and dangerous SCP anomalies. This leads you into darker areas, navigating and avoiding some creative entities in a no combat format that isn't overly aggressive. Though one area is tricky until you understand the mechanics, which did not take long. I'd also like to add that I thought the music in this game was also excellent, so props to everyone working on that side of things :)
There's a great deal more mind bending reality segments than horror though.
The psychological representation stuff, like you would see in the SENSUA set pieces, is pretty ambitious really, and is visually striking. I can honestly say I was surprised at how effective some of the imagery is. In these segments you square off against a few interactive puzzle elements and some things that may be PORTAL or TALOS inspired. Gathering items for your objective, and navigating labyrinthine areas that play with your ability to put details together.
As for the rest, I will admit it is a mixed bag performance and mechanics wise. But nothing major
The game itself looks very good, the house detail is great, the weather effects are good, but there are more than a few areas where you will have some sort of visible loading between areas that are not seamless. Particularly outdoors during the car segments. I had an issue in one section with some serious hitching that I bug reported, but it was literally in a 2 minute segment standing in place. Other than that I had steady frames etc the whole game. I also requested changes in the HINT system because you will get reminders to check objectives with a fairly large text HUD msg at the WORST times. This will only really bother people like me who love a no HUD experience. The game itself is minimal HUD though which i really appreciated.
Ultimately I was very happy I bought it, I mean, I got it for like $16, took my time and got 7 hours out of it, plus its something I definitely will return to and play again. TRY IT.

Short but incredibly sweet and definitely a product of passion, I've been following this game for awhile and was not disappointed at all with what I received, this game is definitely worth picking up by any SCP fan, or anyone who just enjoys a short but thought-provoking story.

Reminded me a lot of SCP: Secret Files which was my favorite SCP game before this. The horror wasn't dragged out, the story was unique, original and the puzzles were masterfully crafted (seriously, please consider making a puzzle game, because my mind was blown in the later half of the game).
Absolutely recommended, the ending is REALLY worth it!

The first half of this game is a great SCP game. The second half of the game is an okay horror puzzle game. Together they make a really nice product.

Definitely the best horror game I have played so far. It took me +-4h to complete, yes it is short but the creeps this game gave me on literally every step was worth it. At some point this game could just make you cry for no specific reason. 10/10 For graphics, 8/10 for ambient, 9/10 for the lore and 9/10 for other details so overall it is a solid 9/10.

short, albeit a charming SCP-inspired or based game. i love the idea of usage of some not that popular SCP as supporting details on this game and some elements that this became a decent introduction to SCP itself. i love that the devs used the bath tub scp (1974) as a plot element and gave them a really charming personality almost similar to the actual SCP document
however as good as this is, the game i think was too short and the ending was already expected and isnt surprising. tho i hope that the game actually flesh out or give more screen time or decent interaction to some supporting characters or SCP to give them some emotional attachment to the audience and to let the viewers think if they are deserving of what happened to them or not on their last appearance at the timeline of the game. so far i think only SCP 1974 has a more flesh out character but this is due to them being a character with an established personality outside of the game i also like that this shows an inhumane and cold corporate side of SCP and this game still manage to take itself seriously despite it has some quite humour to it. its a good mixture!
decent game. but i suggest to buy in sale
