GrappleWell is a physics based rage game that will have you climbing up from the bottom of a well.
You, (as a coin who been thrown down a well) naturally can only move via grapple hook, but beware, grapples are not an infinite resource! they recharge quickly while you are touching the ground and slowly in the air.
Many a young coin has tried and failed to escape the dreaded well, could your tale be one of legends?

Despite the abundance of "getting over it" clones, Grapplewell stands out thanks to the grapple and (usually) less punishing falls. It took nearly 2h to climb the well for the first time, and the speedrun achievements incentivize you to find skips, optimal grapple angles to build up speed, and finding some hidden coins that enable some shortcuts. There are 22 of them all around the map, most of them very well indicated, with a few being more subtle.
Overall I enjoyed the game except for 3 sections:
- Climbing part with 2 cannons, then 2 exploding orbs
- End of forest zone (going by the achievements) where you need to build up momentum.
- Last obstacle (where you also need to build up momentum)

ENG:
The gameplay is with the mouse, a bit complicated at times to swing, it's between frustrating and chill.
Recommended especially on offer, it has a demo, try it if you have any doubts.
ESP:

Grapplewell is a grappling foddian game where the rope always pull you toward the grappling points, and refill by touching the ground or wall. The game introduce various obstacle mechanics through the game to make it more interesting. The map is often not too punishing but i either got lucky or the fall are well designed.
The game also has collectable coins, that unlock shortcut. Some part of the level design are a bit hard to understand but otherwise it is a great foddian game, with fair fall and cool mechanics

A great "Getting Over It-like" - difficult yet rewarding with a good difficulty curve. I'm a fan of the general mood too - moody lighting and chill music.

An occasionally frustrating but also fairly chill game with an interesting control method.
My first climb took just over 2 hours, but I was able to trim that down to under 15 minutes to get the achievements.

I impulsively purchased this because I saw "grappling hook" and don't regret it this game is a fun and fair challenge, I honestly think calling this a "rage game" severely undervalues the work you put into designing this

Have you ever wanted to be Spider-man? GrappleWell might teach you the geometry of web slinging better than any other game out there.
If you'd prefer to watch a video review instead, I've got you covered above. GrappleWell puts you into the body of a coin and throws you down a well. What wish was made? Who knows, but you're sure as heck not staying down here! So begins your long climb to freedom in this troll game where almost every mistake is on you. Control is tight, the design is good, and the difficulty curve makes the early game accessible compared to, say, Getting Over It. Usually when a gust of wind knocks you down you'll only fall back one section. Others have mentioned they completed the game in a couple of hours. I made it to the Trials section near the end of the game and ragequit. Are you a better gamer than me? Beating GrappleWell requires skill and geometry. Do you need to troll a friend? Or do you have a friend who won't shut up about how they're god-tier at gaming? GrappleWell is a good way to put them to the test.
