Really fun once you get the movement down. Learning to bunnyhop will help immensely.
My main issue is that the game isn't super long, but it's replayable. I hope there will be more content someday!

Counter strike surf maps if they were awesome.
First things first:
Before I fully recommend this game, it's basically required for you to know how to b-hop and air-strafe in any of Valve's source titles, you don't need to be a master at it, just know the basics. Trust me the tutorial does not do a good job of teaching you.
Surreal, dreamlike and really fun! I fully completed the game in 7 hours and feel justified in my purchase. If you don't mind some unconventional game mechanics and like the more experimental titles out there, I fully encourage you to try it out!

Probably my least favourite game ever, honestly.
A roguelite movement shooter that's long fallen off the wagon, but demands you stay on it: as inebriated bunny hopping is as tragic of a sight as you'll be trying to figure out your initial footing out here. Do expect to be filtered a bit, as enemy spawns will refuse to let up as you try to get a feel for what in the hell you're doing, and how the hell you're supposed to do it, a bit like a vague, psychedelic Risk of Rain 2. a fun ride once your past the awkward early learning curve. It's also worth saying the majority of the game isn't directly explained, as a lot of mechanics that are integral to beating the game need to discovered for yourself, by talking to NPCs and fooling around for yourself. I can see how this could be a turn off, but the otherworldly themeing is definitely accelerated by how treacherous and unexplored this makes it feel.
That being said, still incredibly frustrating at times. A good chunk of your runs are gonna be lost to what feels like it wasn't your fault whatsoever. It's definitely a challenge that's generally easy to want to repeatedly come back to, but I'm not gonna sit here and tell you getting stuck in a giant pit because you got bad item spawns is at all a fun time.
Also helps that the game is astoundingly pretty, especially in its overworld, rocking this claymation-esque aesthetic that brings the games dreamy feeling to its utmost potential. music is also slapping.

Not really my kind of fun gameplay-wise. I was kind of expecting something a little different when I saw the top-down screenshot. But the aesthetic and vibes from this go hard and it's not particularly difficult or expensive. I say give it a whirl.

Very cool, stunning atmosphere (just like Psychopomp), I love it

Despite not beating it yet I really found this game fun to play. I sucked at the start but then started to slowly get better at it. It's easy to grind out the first area for Gubbins to get upgrades before proceeding to newer Dream Wilds (Holy shit that's the name of the game!) I love the world and character design so damn much and the music helps the vibe of the game. It feels like one of those old PC games back in the 90's or early 2000's you'd find randomly and get obsessed with. Thank you Karbonic for making these amazing games and I hope to see more in the future.
