Third Crisis

This game has the most clear understanding of what is needed in an erotic video game. There is combat and some puzzles, but the option to skip or turn them off outright, it has clear instructions on how to proceed so you can play it just for the erotic or for actual game play, and even the story and world building is solid. The erotic elements are top tier, the outfits, the H scenes and the corruption path are top tier. On top of all that, the Lovense integration is better than any other video game I have tried. 11/10 the best erotic video game I have ever played, and I look forward to more projects from this team. The only downside is going to other games for new content feels lacking in comparison to this one.

Pros
-The art style is really nice.
-The writing is next level compared to most adult games.
-The main characters are really likable and actually have some depth and humor.
-Lots of story paths and optional horny content, ranging from funny, to wholesome, to genuinely dark and upsetting in some cases. i didn't like some of it, but the darker options aren't forced you have to seek them out, so variety is still a plus.
-The game actually rewards you for staying pure, it unlocks a third story ending and allows new options in dialogue.
-You can pet the cat :3
-The game has a skip mode so you can jump to different points in the story, auto win battles(thank you so much), and adjust your perversion stat on the fly to unlock all the options.
Cons
-The game has a bit of jank to it. freezing, crashing, softlocking, enemies getting stuck, getting stuck inside the same tile as enemies, If the game didn't have a good auto-save feature or the skip mode the bugs would be legitimately frustrating, but i haven't encountered anything that i couldn't fix by just closing the game and reloading an auto-save. A little buggy but not broken or unplayable.
Neutral
-This game can apparently be synced up with a lovesense vibrator for...immersion i guess? i haven't tested this feature, so i cant say anything about it other than that's an interesting concept, but I'm sure most people playing hentai games on steam already have their own "arsenal" shall we say XD
Closing Thoughts
Better than 90% of games in this genre. There's good social commentary hidden under all the TnA, The story is about a world addicted to and controlled by sexual desire, and it shows how that condition is sad and miserable in a lot of ways. I enjoyed this game and i recommend it, but now that I've seen how the story ends i think i'm gonna start No Nut November 5 months early this year. Maybe go on a hike or take a pottery class. Reset my mind a little bit.

There are two ways to grade this game
1. Graded on a curve and only including other H-Games
A+, possibly at the top of the class.
Relatively long, complete. Numerous endings and side quests. Plenty of art. Much better combat than the competition.
Shockingly complete story, with actual detail put into the worldbuilding.
2. Graded against "regular" non-H games
C-
The game feels unfinished. When the game was still in its beta stage, I assumed that when complete, there would not be any more "generic mannequins" for NPC characters. But no. Several major side-characters just appear as mannequins.
The combat is passable, except when the enemy count goes up to 7+ or so. There needs to be a way to non outright skip the entire fight, but have the game compress all of the enemies movement into one move.
Combat works by each individual character moving across the board/combat cell. So if there are 20 characters on the board, you wait for all 20 to complete. it's something that works at a 4 count well, but ends up being awful at a high enough count.

All in all, I recommend the game because you're not buying this game to compete with normal indie RPGs.

1. Combat becomes a chore
2. Feels uncompleted, even though this is the "final" release
3. Every few hours, you need to restart the game due to frame stutters. This indicates some sort of memory leak somewhere.
Biggest con (SPOILERS): It is impossible to get the "true" ending as it requires 0 perversion. However, there is a required step of progression early in the game that takes 20 perversion. Only way to get it is to "cheat" perversion, either by setting it as a console command or turning on skip-mode and toggling lust down to 0.
That's a major flaw in any game development, making a "real" ending only possibly by cheating. Ends up making that feel just thrown in without much thought.

The story so goated (with the sauce) I'm skipping H-Scenes to get back into the story.
Throb is based and deserves the world. A lone gay man in a party of degens.

I can't, on good conscience, give this game a good review without explaining stuff, but I can't lie to y'all. 10/10… but stay far away from this game, I'm warning you.

I legit thought about deleting this game from my library, it'd be the first time I've ever felt the need to do that.

This is the only time you will see me write a review for a game like this. This game has so much post nut clarity that it punches you across the face with how hard it is. Your main character is defacto lesbian, and by you controlling her, you ultimately get her to do more and more depraved things as time goes on. Whittling away her identity as a person, walking away from the main goal, that being, saving your girlfriend. At the end of playing the only person to blame for where this character goes is you. You get to watch her spiral out of control from your actions and go further down the rabbit hole with every deliberate click of the purple text. There's a branch ending where you can go through the whole game without doing anything once, and in a way that almost makes it worse, because its giving you the hard truth that you are wholly to blame for where she goes.

Real talk, I was in a dark place when I got this game, I had just got laid off from my job, which means I had too much time to myself wallowing in self-doubt and a desperate need for something to make me happier or somewhat entertained, and this game brought me really close to a dark addiction that could have brought me to some bad places. I can't stop you from buying this, I can't lecture you, but if there is anything I can tell you before buying this, let it be this.

Put it in your steam hidden section, don’t let this game be the thing that ruins you like it almost did me. Even if it’s a few extra clicks to find it and hit the play button, do it. there's a reason they call it a vice.
Im better now, got a better job, have better control, and im in a better headspace. Ill still play this game every now and then, because y'know, but it would be a betrayal of myself to lie and say this game wasn’t at one point destructive.

played for the lewd, stayed for the story. a unique game

I've been playing my partner's copy of this game via Steam Families. Just now managed to get it for myself. Love this game, there are not enough lewd games out there with female protagonists, so it's especially great to come across one that's so well done with a great story, art, animations and gameplay all rolled into one super awesome package.
