It's hard to review something so short and surreal, so I'll just say that it seems to have succeeded in being uncomfortable and mildly disturbing in its brief timeframe, and that I was occasionally reluctant to even interact with the things on the screen because it might be unpleasant. To me that indicates that it was successful at being good psychological horror.
The only real negative I can mention is that it's sometimes hard to figure out exactly how to interact with the scenes—once or twice I picked up an item and then clicked hopefully all over several others with it to see if that would finally do something—and that there isn't any way to save midway through a session. Although with a game this short, that's hardly a huge drawback.
Watch the trailer, I suppose, and you should be able to decide whether this is likely to be your cup of tea or not.

Not really a game, but cool ass art project with meaning! Loved it!

Yes, I’m writing this review 4 years after playing it…
long story short, this game is really unique and surreal. I don’t think you’ll find a game like this anywhere else. I love that there are different ways to go about things in the game too, so it isn’t very limited to just ONE outcome.

This is 20 minutes of odd surrealism in the spirit of an art show, where you're supposed to simply click on on-screen objects to progress.
I enjoy claymation, and I enjoy weird stuff. This is neat, but there's not much to be said about it.
It's super short, and yet the price dutifully reflects that.

This is legit. Impeccable sound design, nightmare-inducing imagery, simple gameplay, cheap. If you're even slightly interested in the surreal, get this.

Isolomus delivers a surreal, psychedelic horror experience with no storyline—just haunting claymation visuals and unsettling choices. Each interaction leads to different disturbing outcomes, with two possible endings. Very short (20 minutes) but highly impactful, it’s a game you’ll want to replay to see it all.
For its low price, Isolomus offers a uniquely chilling point-and-click adventure. Visually striking, bizarre, and undeniably worth a play for horror fans seeking something different.

Life is just a grey box... but it is a box made of clay, so shape it however you like! It's still terrifying though...
