Wanted Raccoon
Wanted Raccoon is a story about a raccoon that lived a peaceful life in the forest until one day people invaded it. They cut down the trees and built their own houses instead. Animals` families were taken away from them and all those who couldn`t hide were placed in animal shelters. Our Raccoon met the same fate. Help the raccoon get free, find his family, and find a new home. It`s time to fight people back!
Raccoon`s enemies – hunters, cops, and other residents of Raccoon City also have their own story and behavior.
The game is full of various locations: forest, construction site, animal shelter, different houses, car dump, car repair shop, church, stores, etc. Each of them contains multiple tasks and many interactions with the outside world.
Completing tasks will allow you to increase the level of the raccoon, master skills, improve your base, get various items necessary for crafting and buying devices, develop a shelter for other animals, as well as to find new friends.
RIDE A SKATEBOARD
You can easily overcome long distances of Raccoon City on a skateboard! Explore the game world and run from the cops and other enemies.
STEAL RESOURCES
Steal resources, alone or together with other animals, that will help you in achieving your goals and confronting people.
CRAFT ITEMS
Create various traps and useful gadgets from the resources obtained in the open world and while completing tasks.
BUILD A BASE
Build and develop your base! Here you can give shelter to other animals on the loose and organize resistance to the common enemy-human beings!
MAKE TRAPS
Create traps in Wanted Raccoon! They can be combined in different ways to neutralize the enemy. But you should also be careful so that not to get into a trap!
BUY DEVICES
Some items are impossible to craft, but you can trade in the game to purchase the necessary gadgets and crafting components.
PLAN ROBBERIES
There is a room for planning bold robberies at your disposal. These crawls are needed to replenish food supplies, resources and building materials for the base.

This is a 100% accurate day to day life of a raccoon, from digging in the local gas station dumpster to finding a grenade and chucking it a animal control. I can say as a raccoon this is a perfect and will recommend to my fellow dumpster divers. 10/10 (hope more story gets added sooner).

Imagine if GTA and Goat Simulator had a baby. That’s basically what this game feels like. A weird mix, but honestly, the concept is pretty interesting. Because of that, the game itself is fun and definitely has potential.
However, it’s full of bugs. Some are funny, while others can be pretty game-breaking. The bugs definitely need to be fixed, and adding a few more sound effects would also improve the experience.

Firstly, full props to the developer for producing a Raccoon Simulator. Raccoons need love, and we all love a good trash panda.
While I highly recommend this game for topic, fun, and genre, I think its important to acknowledge the flaws. Hopefully, while its in early access, the developers can take feedback and integrate it into development for an even better kick-ass game. And at the end of the day, isn't that what we're all looking for ? A fun raccoon game that lets us live out our raccoon fantasies?
So the first major flaw is performance. I'm running it on my Steam Machine, and the default graphics settings suck ass. Frame rate is low and the game is sluggish. Lowering the graphics from the defaults does speed up performance CONSIDERABLY to 30FPS, but graphics deteriorate badly too. I suspect that because its early access and still in development, its not fully optimized. So I can cut it some slack there, but I strongly hope that its something the devs are working on.
Secondly, the aiming interface is often missing objects that are right in front of my raccoon, and I have to back up, approach from a different angle, or adjust camera. the X to interact or pick up object will flash briefly while I'm turning the camera and disappear, then I'll have to back up. It's not the worst gameplay issue in the world, but it does make the game feel harder and less immersive.
Now the good
This game is fricking awesome. I totally love it. Obviously I'm looking at it through rose coloured glasses because, raccoons, right? But it feels cozy, it feels just so joyful. There's a little tension when the hoomans invade, but then freeing my raccoon friends was so elating. I just loved it.
I think you will too.
I genuinely want this game to be a success, and look forward to seeing its future development. There were like a LOT of achievements in the first few minutes, which does worry me about pacing though and how long the game is in its current state. I do hope for many more hours of play, and I strongly suspect that it will be a nice cozy game to come back to with replay value. Please continue to make our raccoon fantasies come true. I think the price point is fair and if you love raccoons you'll pay that premium. Right now its on a deep discount that is probably TOO good to be true (and for the developer to earn income to support its game development). At your time of purchase, this may differ, as early access games are often sold lower than the final price. But totally worth it for a raccoon lover at full retail.
