Light is fantastic isn’t it? but what if you can jump higher in the dark with inverted controls.
There is a strange sickness in your village and all you can do is to find an old wise man and ask for help.
Light Fantastik is a puzzle platformer set in a maze on one side and its reflection on the other side. You play as a small, square-shaped man and when you pass to the other side, the world become inverted where you can jump higher but see less. During your journey you will go through some portals, run from strange creatures and search for that old wise man. Will you choose to see the entire maze on one side or to jump higher on the other side? As you progress through the game, you will see some strange effects of your sickness. Listen to story that old man tells. There is an end awaits you.

Even though at first glance it looks like a classic mobile game once you play it for a couple of levels you will see that you will need more than your 2 thumbs to play this game.
It has a steep difficulty curve and a couple of tricks up its sleeve on every level.
I like the portal style tutorials where it hints but doesn't tell you what the new thing does.
The editor needs a bit of work; object eraser bugs out sometimes. The dark side has no lightning what-soever while testing.
The restart button freezes the game for a second but then it comes back.
While playing in the dark zone it can drop a couple of frames.
It's a delightful casual platformer, with a semi-original but recognizable cute art style. Few of the achievements are pretty hard but achievable.
The story is not complex but since the genre, it's not that important anyway.
I like the little touches like the song lyrics in the levels, but sometimes the cards right before the end of a level are hard to read because of the lack of an end screen.
P.S.: Still waiting for the Abu which is suppose to be "on the way". (Don't worry it's a pun.)

Loved the art style, loved the idea.
I really enjoyed the level design and how it kind of lures me into trying again and again.
I thought I was ready for the inverted gameplay, but apparently I was not! :)
Great catch for this price if you are interested in puzzle platformers.

Great puzzle-platformer with nice minimalistic art style. It has unique gameplay with fluid controls and will keep you entertained for a good amount of time thanks to the carefully designed levels which get progressively harder.
Definitely recommended!

Fun and enjoyable game with cute minimalist graphic style. Game mechainc is very cool and well executed in level design. If you are looking for platformers with a twist, Light Fantastik is for you.

Light Fantastik describes itself as a puzzle platformer, but the emphasis is mostly on the platforming (which can become quite challenging) but the puzzling consists mostly of finding your way through a (sometimes pitch dark) maze. Your avatar can transform into various shapes each with different (dis)abilities. The form which is always running and can't remain still in the horizontal direction is a real pain - you don't get to practice even a tiny bit with this form but instead have to use it straight away for some nasty platforming job. However, after a couple of levels each new ability has become second nature and feels good to control.
I liked most of the platforming in this game, and most challenges feel fair, but there are also some levels that are full of cheap death traps. On the whole the 60 main levels are quite balanced and well designed, with continuously increasing difficulty. There are 10 "extra" levels which (fortunately) did not make it into the main game - they consist mostly of over-the-top levels that are more annoying and unfair then fun and challenging - I only completed half of these levels.

I was waiting for this game after ı watched the teaser. The story and the representation of it amazed me. I feel as even a square have a humanistic character. Moreover, ı thought it was an exciting game because of unıque graphics.
As far as ı played, varied levels keep re playability within well-paced increases in difficulty. Also thinking about two-sides of levels and playing reversed controllers enriches the game experiences and ı have to confess, that makes the game tricky.
About the controls; they are tight, and the physics feel sufficiently adequate.
Highly recommended!
