Samarost 2 is a charming but non-obvious point-and-click linear exploration game.
+ Very good visuals
+ Surreal world
+ Cute animations
* ~45 min playthrough
- Non-obvious interactability blocks progress
It's a worthwhile playthrough. It has my recommendation for people who like the genre and artsy, surreal worlds.

When I was very little, I would beg my dad to find this game on flash games every couple months so I could play through the entirety of it.
Took me a while to find it again. I'm very glad I did.
Excellent game.

It's a classic Amanita Design point and click puzzle game and it's dirt cheap at sale, but man is it glitchy. I don't remember it being this bad? Is it windows 11? Triggers and interactive objecs break all the time, forcing you to restart the level, sometimes it can be solved by changing from windowed and full screen mode, other times you'll need to restart the scene (they are all super short, so you don't waste that much time).
I would usually think the glitches would have been absolutely inexcusable, but i also think it's an issue with newer hardware and not the game itself, because i have played this years ago and it wasn't this bad. Should they fix it, yeah idealy, but It's also a game that's 17 years old that was made for the Windows Vista era, Sometimes older games just don't play nice with newer systems.

Following the first game example, game continues to do what works and is still beautiful

A short point and click game. The art and non verbal characters are really surreal and charming.
The puzzles are kinda weird and usually involve clicking a series of things on the screen in the right order, or dragging something from one place to another. It can be really hard to tell what's clickable and what's not, which I think might be the greatest source of challenge and frustration.
I don't remember how this got in my backlog. Would I say it's worth spending $5? Probably not for me personally. It was an interesting way to spend an hour though. If you love point and click puzzle games, I'd recommend it.

The game has really progressed compared to the first part, both in terms of graphics and puzzles, which have become better and more numerous. But the overall impression was slightly spoiled by two bugs that did not allow the use of items, namely the bells at the penultimate location and the last one, but with a kettle. This is easily solved by restarting the game. If you do not look at these minor disadvantages, in conclusion, the game is interesting, although it still remains quite short.

Samorost, Pt II
Key features
Simple gameplay,
Short adventure
Kind version of John Wick
Malicious aliens steal your dog and you must get it back!
Entire gameplay is about clicking here, there, pulling items in specific order and moving from one small area to another. There are funny creatures, non harmful interactions, happy end and all that wrapped up in a distinctive graphics. Nice game!
