About the GameLake of Creatures is a fast-paced action fishing roguelike, where you’re on a quest to hunt down a mythical lake monster.
FEATURES:
- Randomly Generated Runs. In each run you hop into freshly generated lakes finding different gear, enemies and secrets every time!
- Combat Modifying Upgrade Synergies. The lakes are filled with lost relics that grant you all kinds of powers. Combining these powers might make you more powerful (or not). Take caution when combining their effects as your success depends on them!
- Unique Fishing. Swing your fishing rod to cast out the physics based fishing line. Once a fish is hooked prepare yourself, since big fishes ain’t going down without a fight.
- Catching and selling fish is mandatory, since buying more equipment will further improve your chances of success.
- Fast-Paced Juicy Combat With Roguelike Elements. Juicy twin-stick shooter with roguelike features such as gameplay modifying upgrades, procedurally generated levels and permadeath.

okay so, after 40 min:
- i discovered i can shoot at fishes

The videos of the dev was so joyful it made me cry and buy the game without a discount and I am not disappointed. Altough I think it has some optimization issues, it is very obvious that the dev put his heart and soul into it. The art is good, gameplay loop is great, ost is fire. Truly one of the great roguelikes.

Really fun roguelike, bought it bcs i saw the developers tiktok and I was expecting to be disssapointed but tbh its way better than i tought.I really enjoy Binding Of Isaac and this is actually pretty similar altough on a smaller scale as it is new and by a solo dev, its well made my 2nd play(where i actually knew what i was doing) i got a crazy combo that coverd my whole screen after spamming for 2-3s and the first thing that came to mind was BOI.
