The Shepherd is a 2D, single-player game that combines RPG elements with a unique blended time-based turn-based battle system. Set in the deserts of Saudi Arabia.
key Features
- Protect your sheep from predators in turn-based battles where your attacks are made using a unique time-based bar mechanic that minimizes your dependence on luck. Each of these predators has their own special attacks and abilities.
- Feed your sheep as they roam around the grassland eating grass patches they encounter, or if they’re lucky stumbling upon special flowers which increase their stats. Once the sheep have been fed, you can shave off their wool to sell in the market.
- Buy and upgrade your weapons to help you defeat stronger predators. Each weapon has a different battle bar that can be enhanced with upgrades.
- Strengthen your sheep by increasing their core stats of beauty, fertility and agility.
- Breed your sheep to make various genetic combinations each with their own appearance and attributes.
- Meet variety of desert-folk and help them with their problems. Help them and they will help you back with gifts, some helpful advice, and some not so helpful advice.
- Find the 6 mystic wells by seeking out the maps that will lead to them. When your sheep drink from these wells you will be able to select special upgrades for them. Unique to each bread.

I really enjoy this game and would love to see it grow more i know it's in early development but just a few issues i encountered were the audio completely cutting out at certain points i.e when i adjusted the settings aswell as when i paused the game and resumed it and at another point all of the sheep icons slowly dropped to the bottom of the screen and when i setup camp my character was halfway through the ground and then after the camping finished and morning came my character was completely gone

For an early access game, not bad. Really dig the style and gameplay after I've fallen out of the map or until my herd starts to become rebellious.
My only complaint about this game is how it lacks gamemodes such as Team Deathmatch or any kind of multiplayer activities we gamer's can enjoy.
Still, a relaxing game I can enjoy wasting until my fortnite game is done updating or my hot pocket is finished microwaving.
