I wanted a game that would let me design my own house in a fun and creative way, especially since my wife and I are planning to build one.
Overall, the game is quite intuitive. The tools work well, and I quickly got the hang of it without needing any tutorials.
Pros:
• Intuitive and easy to use
• Tools work smoothly and are quick to learn
• Runs well and performs consistently
• 3D interactive experience where you walk inside the house/open doors etc
Cons:
• Lacks depth and variety in decoration options such as wallpapers, stairs and roof styles
• Room and object proportions do not always match real-world scale, making large rooms feel smaller
• No free map editor, limiting creativity to preset maps
• Garage spaces feel small and lack car objects for realistic planning
• Swimming pool options are limited, and rooftop pools seem unavailable
Suggestions for improvement:
• Add more decorative options and building materials
• Introduce a free map or canvas editor
• Include vehicles and proper garage tools
• Allow rooftop pools and more flexible pool placement
• Add an export feature to create basic house plans for sharing with architects or engineers
Overall summary:
The game is good and runs well, it's got quite a smooth and intuitive design experience. However, it lacks the depth and customisation needed to take it to the next level. Maybe with more objects, decorative options, and an export or map editor feature, it could easily become a decent platform for both hobbyists and trainee architects. Even could be a go to platform for architects to show a immersive 3D version of a building.
I think it's a game that has the potential to become more. I would recommend it as it did help my wife and I to get a general feel for what we want to build for our next home.

This game managed to make a proper roofing tool that the Sims was not able to do accomplish in years. 10/10
But if seriously, in general, it is fun and challenging to create rooms according to the specifications given by a client. The small choice making during the construction itself is simple, yet gives it more depth. There is still some aspects I need to get used to, but I am positive abour finishing this game to 100%.
Controls are nice and logical. The furniture customization is present as well, giving more creative freedom. No complaints so far.

A bit overwhelming. The tools are definitely more streamlined and gamified than the real life counterparts but it's still quite a lot to throw at new players. I made it through the tutorials but couldn't get past the structural phase of the first real project (I can't figure out how to fit seven different rooms in a 90 sqm space). I do think there's potential here so I'll give it another go tomorrow.

Decent Game, but needs a few fixes
Fun but few issues though. Can't place stairs in the same area on top of each other to go to different floors, have to place them in different areas on different floors otherwise they do not register. Curved walls are great, but should be able to join two 90 degree walls to make a curved wall instead of curving a singular wall.
Also, can't place windows/doors on curved walls.

Would be amazing if they added a way to export the CAD and 3D to softwares like Rhino/AutoCAD. This could become my go to for quick conceptualization. I know its just a game but it could also become a mini BIM software and make things easier for architects who dont want to spend too much time working on CAD softwares for first stage design.
The other thing that would be helfpul is that if they expanded the library even more. But i am pretty sure they will come up with more DLC.
Another thing that would be helpful is to be able to copy and paste rooms so that we can work on multiple floors faster.

I'm finding this game enjoyable and addictive, rather than frustrating which is a good sign! I think there are a few things that could be improved to make it more playable, like the option of shapes that you can drop and re-size rather than building wall by wall. I'm also looking forward to more objects and finishes that I hope will be in a future patch (rather than a DLC). I'd also love corner kitchen cabinets and cabinets with more widths.
Overall it's a fun, creative game and I definitely recommend it for people who like house building games, that are confident in building houses from scratch. I also recommend it for anyone who likes to build houses from real-life floor plans which you can do in the free building mode.

A game with potential
The good
The art style and vibe
Creative mode available from the start
Career replayability as the projects seem to change
Good controls with a controller
Runs well even on rather modest hardware
The roofing system is superior to the Sims'
The colour customisation of the furniture
The ability to adjust the time of the day
The bad
The game was clearly designed for controllers, and the mouse and keyboard controls can feel clunky and need some time getting used to
No measuring tool for accurate placement of furniture and other items
Sometimes you need to be in the right category to select an already placed objects, needlessly slowing you down needlessly
Furniture and other items can't be resized leading to some difficult choices
The walls thickness can't be changed
It's hard to make small adjustments to the walls length, minimum movement around 1m
Changing the shape of the house can be difficult and time consuming, as the corners can't be moved directly and the walls can't be subdivided instantly, tip : make another wall or a room to subdivide a wall, it makes it easier to adjust your house
No narrow stairs
No multi selection, have to move items one by one
The ugly
My houses.
My recommendations for the devs
The game has good potential. Most of the frustration players could feel comes from clunky controls with the keyboard and mouse, sizing the items at will would solve many issues, as well as improving the handling of the items such as adding multi selection, a simple measuring tool would help too. The walls need further flexibility in their thickness and length, and the stairs system would need an overhaul.
Those are all fixable issues, and I hope the devs continue working and improving on the game as they have some very solid foundation, the game could have a long life.
