As I usually do, I will recommend this, not only because it works, and I liked most of the minigames, but because Steam doesn't have a "meh" button.
However, if you are looking for a good story with a satisfying ending, look elsewhere. This was all over the place, with too many moon-logic puzzles and people not acting in ways that make any sense in context. The myth and folklore of Scotland is badly represented, and really ticked me off at several points (using culturally amalgamated witchcraft to fight a magic banshee witch ghost being one of those things). Not even to mention how GENERIC the entire setting is to time, place, and people, with "standard Artifex Mundi amber and aqua fantasy kingdom" being a better description than "Scottish countryside" or anything similar. Heck, this is basically indistinguishable from the "House of 1000 Doors" series, in terms of location and feel.

Loved the atmosphere and music! The voice acting could have been better, but over all, really enjoyed this oen!

Coming from a long hiatus of reviewing hidden object games, I find Endless Fables 3: Dark Moor to be quite riveting. Sure, not par to its predecessors, but it had quite of a charm with itself as well.
During the early play of the game, there is a clear difference of dialogue delivery between the MC and the other NPCs. Every conversation has voice acting. MC wasn't up to standards of individuality like the other characters though, and it could be better. The introduction was mundane at best, the build up didn't feel enough, and the player creating connections with the characters didn't feel as close as truly intended. Hence, outcome is that the player will not feel too involved in its backstory.
This game tried its best to be scary with their jumpscares and I could definitely see it if it was played during the night. However, I played this during the morning and so I considered the shock factor to be a bit less.
A great bonus for this story is the side story or aftermath. I would consider this to be a great addition, with only a little more than two hours for the original gameplay and close to three with the time including the side story. As the finale of the trilogy, I would've expected a grander exit. Even so, I think this game is a sure recommend, raking up a 7.5/10 for its unique nuances.

This was a decent HOG. Not very challenging as far as puzzles but an enjoyable entry to the series. 7/10.

You don't have to play the other parts of this series to enjoy the experience of this game. The story is different just playing with the same character. Enjoy!

Endless Fable 3: Dark Moor is a point-and-click adventure game from Artiflex Mundi's collection. The publisher specializes in hidden object games. Once again, we follow Pamela Cavendish, whose adventures we've been following since the first game in the series. This time, she visits her niece in northern Scotland for her birthday, and that's where things take a turn for the worse.
The niece becomes entangled in a curse, and Pamela must come to her rescue. The gameplay mechanics are familiar, with classic point-and-click sections where you must use the right object at the right time. The game also features numerous hidden object scenes and puzzles to solve in order to progress.
The graphics are well done, as is the music that accompanies the adventure. The puzzles are well-designed, and like the rest of the series, the game offers some enjoyable bonus content. Players can replay the various mini-games, listen to the soundtrack and save it to their files, obtain in-game wallpapers, and watch the cutscenes again. Ultimately, the game is well-made, generous in content, and enjoyable to play. It should once again appeal to fans of the genre.
