Barn Finders
Search for valuables stashed in abandoned barns ranging from old clocks, musical instruments, antiques, gold, weaponry to even vintage cars and motorcycles and sell them for a profit. Run your family business. Look for valuable items and sell them in your pawnshop. Every item has a value, so collect everything and search everywhere! Bid on auctions and sales to get access to closed-off properties. Who knows what kind of dusty treasures you can find there? Visit 12 original locations and unearth their secrets in the land of Ammeryka (largely simmilar to the real America, but not quite). Barns are just the beginning. How about a visit to an old military base or . . . the moon? Take care of developing your shop. Empty shelves mean an empty wallet. Customers will come back if they have something to come back for. Fix found items, clean the dirty ones and sell them all. And if there are no customers, you can always play basketball in your backyard. And somehow, make money while playing.. Uncle Billy will keep you busy. Together you’ll explore different locations, but the real work is all for you to do. That is, until you go solo. Eventually. Being a real Barn Finder is a state of mind – a job for the brave and the bold. Your competitors are specialists and they are just waiting for you to slip up.

Ridiculous game. Fun parody of TV shows and was just a fun experience.
I wish the Devs updated the Console version of this game to get the DLCs and updated features like holiday events and stuff.
Good fun, take the game with a pinch of salt as it's meant to feel and look ridiculous.

Bought this game as part of a bundle because it was only a dollar more to add the game, and honestly I like this game more than the game I originally bought the bundle for.
Super fun and there's a lot put in to the game, unique twist on an auction/flipper game. 10/10 would buy again!

Marketing of this game was overly hyped. In reality is pretty scarce.
You get to search for treasures in various locations. Maybe first couple locations feels like fun. But the you discover that it is just good old click on hidden points game. Just in 3D. Puzzles were fine.
You can renovate some found items. This part of game feels pretty thin. And then you cant sell stuff in store. This too feels nice at first, you can even haggle with customers. This gets boring really fast too.
Developers crammed so many things for player to do in this game. Probably so marketing could go nuts. They are all just really thinly implemented.
Best part of this game is humor and characters. Those are glue holding this game together. Sadly, they don't last very long.
But most important thing, it player is having fun. And I did, even if only for 13 hours.
Recommended if this sort of humor suits you. And you get it on discount.

Very entertaining game. I just destroy everything on the map and pick up all the materials and make bank. Simple as that. The auctions? Pretty fun. Original game focuses on it decently, bid wars dlc (the negatively reviewed one), focuses heavily on it, and honestly it's not bad either. If you go in with expectations of a game that has 1000+ hours of gameplay, this might not be for you, but if you want a game with a lot of character, a game with developers that work hard to improve their game and actively work on it (even after the 5+ years being out), then this game may be for you. Also with the random gags, it's great to play stoned

Did not expect to find a gem amidst the simulator genre slop. Yes, it's janky at times, but I feel like the devs understood what the strength of this game was.

Ever buy a game, because you've bought a lot from the publisher before, and the game has that inspiring "Very Positive" review on Steam... even though... you know the "style" or is it the "atmosphere" clashes with every game you've ever enjoyed? After you get the game, you go... it's not "bad", but its REALLY NOT ME. Don't make my mistake, but if you're not like me... you may really enjoy it. I'm going to keep it, because it's not a bad game, I bought it, and I may try to squeeze more life out of it.
Enjoy if you like this kind of ambiance and simulator.
OR Don't get it, if you're not that type, you won't be missing anything.

Definitely a bit clunky in some areas, the tutorial is okay but its not really a step by step tutorial, you learn how to use the computer and actually go to the barns and auctions and that is about it really but I mean they do have slides that show you how to use all of the other stuff, its pretty easy to pick up. The game itself is quite fun, lots of secrets to find on each map that you might not be able to get at the start if you don't have the equipment. The fuel system is not something I am a fan of personally but it isn't a huge pain. The game runs pretty well, probably because it is in small areas and not an open world system like storage hunter sim, but I appreciate the devs putting work into making sure it doesn't run poorly. I also have 0 stutters which is great.
