PGA TOUR 2K21

Yeah the game is great, however even though my player has supposedly earned 10 million dollars this season he cannot afford new clothes or golf clubs. Why is that? Oh because the dollars are actually bullcrap and 2k really wants you to buy their over priced currency packs instead.

Why 2k? It costs 1,200 of your currency for a single callaway iron and yet you want 60 dollars for 6,000 of that currency? Are you kidding me? Why cant I just buy a game and play it, why am I always nickeled and dimed by scumbags?

Golf. If you find that concept in itself enjoyable... this is a fairly good simulacra of said recreational activity with functional online play if you happen to have pals of a similar mindset.

PGA Tour games peak here, every multiplayer mode on big budget golf games is dead so don't buy this expecting to play with anyone but yourself on career mode, or with...friends...who own the game too.
Also do not pay full price for this you can find cool websites listing locations where the game is $3 USD :3c

PLAYER GAMING REQUIREMENTS:
💼 Golf.
💼 Simulation.

PROS:
+ Shot shaping, ball physics / bounces are all spot on, I've never played a golfing game but it doesn't take a specialist to realise how good this is.
+ Getting the choice to choose your own club/position to handle a situation. It does recommend what club to use but you don't have to take the advice.
+ It's very satisfying when you hit the shot to perfection, especially when you're chasing your opponents.
+ This is the 21 version and still holds up even for it's age.
+ Rivalries! If you play on a difficult setting, things can get very heated between the two of you.
CONS:
- Customisation is a little lacking, same can be said for sponsoring a major company.
- Commentary is very limited, I decided a few hours into the game that it would be better just to turn off the commentary.
- Replays seem unnecessary most of the time.
VERDICT:
For a player who isn't a fan of golf in every single aspect, I didn't think i'd enjoy playing a video game about it. But as most things, it surprised me! Sure it's not the most perfect golfing game but I haven't play anything better, aside from GTA 6 and we really can't compare the two.... or can we?
From what I've played, I enjoyed this game as a whole, it's a little dated when it comes to the graphics but everything else feels pretty sharp and on point, i'd definitely get it on a light discount, around 20% sounds the most reasonable.

good game. bought it for 3 bucks in a key store and since i don't wanna play online anyway, i have nothing to complain about.

PGA 2k21 is the perfect outlet for a leisurly game, theres NO violence, No looking over your shoulder, No extra lives or risk of being killed etc.... Just a perfect game of Golf ! The ball and swing mechanics are spot on and it is graphically superb, excellent AI commentary and plenty of options to keep you going, I have nearly finished all courses now and WILL be updating to PGA 2k23 as soon as im ready.
If you don't have this game in your library, I highly recommend you do so.

I play this in a zen relaxed turn off my mind way. The game is great for this.
Intuitive controls. On "normal" difficulty it is a relaxed experience with many birdies.
Speakers are really good and it fits.
Graphics: ok. Looking at other games, like racing games (Forza, ...) or shooters or walking simulators, this PGA Tour 2k21 feels somehow sterile.
