Mix Universe is a node-based music game like no other!
Create, Share, and Play each other’s musical compositions (Mixes) all in-game in a relaxing, casual format that is visually spectacular!
Key Features
- Nodes can play sounds, show cool visuals, or even control other nodes!
- Sounds can be chosen from a variety of built in libraries (Piano, Drums, Space Strings, Synths, and More)
- Sounds can be altered by adding elements to them (Volume, Duration, Attack, Pitch, LFO, Filtering, Reverb, Delay, High Pass, Low Pass, Bit Crush, and More)
- Nodes can be moved, rotated, scaled, and snapped to a grid.
- Full functional undo and redo system.
- Multiple Themes / Worlds/
- Full Steam Workshop integration for saving and sharing mixes.
Adding elements is as simple as clicking and dragging onto the nodes directly.
Nodes with rings can can have elements on them that affect all nodes in the ring
After a mix is made you can save that and upload it to the steam workshop directly in-game to share with the community workshop. Then others can open up what you make, play it and potentially use it for inspiration to start something they create!
DISCLAIMER: Mix Universe is NOT a Digital Audio Workstation and also is not intended to be used for live performances. The features required to do so are beyond the scope and vision of this game.

idk if fthe devs see this but here i go. the game is great and the potential is CRAZY. honestly i went in expecting to have a whole ton of fun.. and i did. but 22bucks is WAY too big for what the game has as for right now, it's fun but that didn't last too long. it felt like the game lacked a point. and yeah sure you can have a sandbox game without any objectives and that's totally ok. this i would have at least like to have some kind of unlocking system to make it more progressive? i'm no gamedev tho so this is maybe just me being an a-hole. either way this is still a great s&b game even in its early state, maybe just not for me and a little overpriced

What it is:
Early access. More features and interactions are coming.
Create an environment.
Create music in that environment.
Not a musician? No problem.
Share your music with friends.
Listen to your friends take your music and turn it into the worst song ever made.
10/10 would let my friends ruin my music again.

Amazing game! So relaxing and visually stunning. Wish there was a simpler "entry mode" where I could just walk around other peoples creations but the mix samples is essentially that. Can't wait to see where the dev takes it.

It may seem a little pricey, but it's some quality work!
Visually stunning, especially as you fly through it. Very accessible, with a well-made tutorial that you can replay just in case. And a great workshop feature.
Seriously, this game deserves better sales and a bigger community, because these devs have worked hard on something really special and impressive!

What's better than being super creative and making your own music? Playing a game that literally visualizes your music as you make it! This game can really revolutionize your creative process. It's easy to come up with a nice sounding mix with the vibe notes. I highly recommend anyone to play this game even if you have zero experience with making music!

Fun game.
Maybe add a video feedback module, square or round screens to look into the horizon & lens distortion.
Without a tutorial with pictures, it is not clear how to set up the LFO.

This game is an absolute delight whether you'e a seasoned producer, a novice interested in getting into music, or something in between. There's very little learning curve and only a small amount of music knowledge is required to get started. I could see it being a really great way to develop one's music production knowledge. The space theme is the cherry on top. Looking forward to more updates.
