Pretty much every reviewer mention everything I wanted to say about this game. I'm just here to keep the positive review score at a 100%.
Tips for the final, final bossfight: Shield yourself in the cornor and purchase as much extra MP and HP as you can beforehand.

Aside from the sub-standard boss battles and (unreliable) shield mechanic, there isn't enough of a difference from the original for anyone that doesn't already enjoy this series. Still entertaining for $0.99, though.

"Swords & Bones 2" is a simple hack & slash platformer with decent pixel-art and animation and an homage of the old "Sword and Sorcery"-inspired sidescrolling arcade games. You slash, jump and block your way through level bits of five different biomes, collecting currency that can be spent in the shop between levels to get spells, level up your gear, stats and get new abilities. The abilities ease your maneuverability and make you reach all the collectibles strewn around in each level. They are necessary for the true ending .
Some minor gripes: The slideshow art of the story bits may be a tad amateurish and the game can be leisurely 100%ed in under 2 hours, but I nonetheless had a fun time with it.
Plus, I somehow like the games of "SEEP"; they seem to make games just for the loving sake of it. Looking forward to the rest of the titles (should have started with the first one, I guess?)
