It's Clara's last day on the island where she grew up. With high honors, she's graduated and fulfilled her childhood dream of joining the Guild of Maritime Exploration. She needs to complete preparations, visit her favorite places, and say her goodbyes – before leaving on a journey she may not return from. *Dangerous journey not included* • Leaving Lyndow is a peaceful experience, with a detailed environment to explore at your own pace. • Examine objects to learn about the life and world of a young scientist preparing to leave home. • Partake in mini-games that further reveal the story. • Speak with friends and family as they prepare for the departure of a loved one. • Short and sweet: An experience that can be completed in one sitting.

Leaving Lyndow hit me hard in the feels with its gorgeous soundtrack. I decided to play this the night i was about to go on a big holiday away from Home for the first time so this resonated with me quite a bit. Its a very short game but it has a very lasting experience once the end credits roll.

It's basically a demo of what Eastshade became. It was fun, but very short and simplistic. If you liked Eastshade and are craving more of the world, I recommend it. Otherwise, pick up Eastshade instead.

Leaving Lyndow is a game that I feel would be best experienced right before playing the game Eastshade. The games are set in the same place in the same world and I think that playing them back to back would offer an enhanced experience.
I enjoyed Leaving Lyndow because the character you play as is going through the pressures of having to leave their home behind to advance in their chosen career. I liked the variety of emotions presented in the different characters you can interact with.
While exploring the different locations in Leaving Lyndow you have the opportunity to learn more about the worlds culture, residents, tragedies, innovation, and more. Other than exploration there are also some mini games that are spread out across the different locations you visit before your departure.
Overall I liked Leaving Lyndow and I think that if you enjoy similar games you may enjoy both Leaving Lyndow and Eastshade, give them a try!

Leaving Lyndow is a short walking simulator type game. It has really nice visuals but only takes half an hour to complete and little to no gameplay. The achievements are easy to get and its worth a play. I wouldn't spend more than £1 on it!

Played Eastshade prior to this one. Was great to see some early stages to the things I saw in Eastshade.
Unfortunately its very short - but if you get it on a sale still worth it.

Nice little game about someone leaving the parents house to stand on their own foot.
