Travel the globe and track your targets across exotic sandbox locations in HITMAN 2. From sun-drenched streets to dark and dangerous rainforests, nowhere is safe from the world's most creative assassin, Agent 47.

Hitman series were always great with their optional stealth action. You can play very accurate and explore ways of assasination or grab a shotgun a take everyone down, thus making the game fun for both hardcore and midcore gamers.

This game is no longer available, the features from this game are now available as part of Hitman World of Assassination.
Hitman World of Assassination review:
Steam User 6
Hitman 2 has provided a decent amount of entertainment playing as "Agent 47".
The franchise is let down by its overly complicated episodic release and purchase duplication.

Fun game, that is longer available because of dumb AAA company shenanigans. Worth the play.

Beautiful game Agent 47, upsetting that the only way to play your game now since its delisted is by buying WOA. IOI is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scummy for this.

Hitman 2 offers amazing stealth sandbox gameplay with huge, detailed levels and tons of freedom. Every mission can be completed in multiple creative ways, making replay ability very high. The story is forgettable and DLC can be confusing, but the core gameplay and level design are excellent. A must-play for stealth

Game is good, but you can only play a few missions without DLC content witch makes this game very small in content

I bought a gold version of this game via a Steam code because I learnt there were more unique challenges for the Hitman 2 missions than in World Of Assassination. What I did not know was there is no longer any way to access the missions from the first game as the legacy pack can't be purchased anymore and there is no more purchasable codes for the legacy pack.
On top of never being able to get 100%, this added an extra challenge as you won't be able to access all of the very useful items from the first game like Sieger 300 Ghost, Krugermeier, Breaching Charge and Disposable Scrambler. So the start of the game had a pretty brutal difficulty curve. I completed the first two missions that I had already completed in WOA, before I progressed in the story and left a lot of challenges alone until I could unlock better items. Had to think through what locations were most important to work up the mastery on through escalations and challenges.
As I got more items everything went more smoothly, though it was slightly more challenging than it could have been that none of my weapons were subsonic. I ended up on 64% steam achievements after doing everything I could. All in all a fun ride, though frustrating that you can't fully complete the game and achievements.
