We Were Here Together
Embark on a puzzle solving adventure in which you and a partner must prove you can communicate and work together to escape the haunted Castle Rock. It all begins with an emergency flare lighting up the sky and a distress call waking you from uneasy dreams. Your fellow Antarctic explorers are in trouble, and the two of you left at base camp must work together to launch a rescue mission. If only you knew what you were getting into… From the research base camp you’ll need to figure out a way to get to the source of the distress flare. Once you’re through the frozen Antarctic wastes, you'll find yourselves separated inside a medieval castle, facing puzzles, secrets, and dangers! You and your partner start out with nothing but your wits and a walkie-talkie each. Observation, smart communication and teamwork will be the only way to escape from the sinister Castle Rock.

I got this game to play with my long distance boyfriend, keep in mind that I am not a gamer person AT ALL, while he definitely is. This was so fun and the learning curve wasn't too bad! Definitely recommend 10/10.

The game is alright, however some of the puzzles' difficulty is considerably harder than other installments of WWH series, which require much more logical deduction rather than team communication. And honestly some of these puzzles require a single player to figure things out, rather than organically having both players equally involved. My biggest advice is that both players prepare a pen and papers to make notes while playing, because some puzzles are long and complicated enough to overload your brain's RAM. By making notes of the information you got from your partner, you can better understand their situation and help with solving their puzzles.

We Were Here Together is a fun co-op only first person puzzle adventure. Another great game in a great series with challenging puzzles and a mysterious ambience. Check it out if you have a good co-op partner or you can try your luck with randoms.
Pros:
- Great art style and visuals;
- Mysterious atmosphere;
- Good sound design;
- Tricky and varied puzzles;
- Reliable connection;
- Good controls;
- Great optimisation;
Cons:
- Mediocre soundtrack;
- Story feels contrived;

I loved this game, I have always been a fan of puzzle games and when I saw this was on sale for like only 2 bucks if I remember correctly I just had to get it for me and my friend. Sure some of the puzzles weren't the most intuitive and on one we flat out just screenshared on discord otherwise would've been the worst game of telephone, so I would recommend the devs to change the clock puzzle (people who went through the game probably know what I am talking about) to where you don't have to be in choir for this game, other than that fun game, really got us thinking, nearly searched up a walkthrough but if you think long and hard enough you should be able to get it on your own, don't be afraid to use a walkthrough though, just a game, it's meant to be fun.

You need good communication and a lot of patience when playing We Were Here series. I would say I don’t have enough of those two qualities in this game lmao. In saying that, there have been moments I wanted to kick my partners butt! Lucky enough to have a partner to able to laugh and enjoy some of these terrible puzzles!
They don't give you hints on how to complete the puzzles, sometimes its really not very intuitive and you are just left to experiment, trial and error. Eventually we had to screen share to really get the idea what rooms we're in. A little of googling also helped us in some parts.
I think the game would be a lot more enjoyable if puzzles made more sense or gave hints here and there.
Worth playing, really need to think outside the box though.
