The Dark Inside Me is a very unique 2d,5, 3rd person next-gen psychological horror adventure game based on a dynamic interactive scenario.
Main aim is to reflect the real characteristic of a player through the game and see how far players would push their limits through the stages of the game. Game is +18 and has disturbing blood, sex and intense violence scenes. These scenes and actions are shaped according to the player’s decisions during the game.
Game is based on a dynamic scenario and the game-flow changes according to player’s decisions and how they face with the situations and solve the puzzles. Puzzles can be solved with more then one way and each way effects and changes the rest of the game-play. For example; in one of the stages you find out the murderer of your wife and knock him down. At that moment it’s up to you to forgive, kill or torture him to death. Game has many psychological scenes as well. You can either solve the puzzles peacefully or in a brutal way. The Dark Inside Me reveals the real characters of the players. You may choose to be good or to be bad.
Sometimes players have to give critical decisions which will completely affect the following game stages.
It’s said that everyone has angels. One of them leads us to the light and the other takes us in to the dark. We give our own decisions through the path of life and now we’ll give our own decisions through The Dark Inside Me.
Dark Inside Me blurs the thin line between madness and reality, darkness and light, love and hate, forgive and vengeance.
After the car accident, we found our self lost in a forest. We need to find our way out and try to learn more about what’s going on with us. We need to find the answers and solve this dark mystery.
We still don’t know if we are guilty or not? We have given a chance and we will continue to face our demons and push our limits as far as we can to enlighten the dark inside us.
The Dark Inside Me game-play builds upon the decisions and sacrifices between the user and the events. Puzzles in the game may be solved with more then a single way. Each way leads you to different paths and change the flow of the scenario.
You can kill someone who is stopping you from your way, by finding a tool to use on. Or you may find a way to pass him without killing. The person you didn’t kill then may show up later and can either help you or makes things harder for you.
When time comes for vengeance, you will decide to forgive or not. You will either torture or kill or let them go .You will face the decisions you made through the game. You can find many tools and items, use them on other objects, combine them to create new items to solve new things.

If you've played the previous chapter, I'd recommend giving this one a shot as well. Chapter II is bigger and better is most aspects. Now with WASD movement, too!
Taking in consideration that this is a one-man project, which is pretty impressive. I support the horror-erotica genre, and the Dark Inside Me was one of the first to introduce me to this. Can't wait what the sequel will bring.
Pros:
- A true point & click adventure/detective
- Twisted and sexy horror
- Great atmospheric music
Cons:
- Voice acting and subtitle grammar can use some work for future references

Adult point & click adventure. Lurid, filthy and largely incoherent storyline that is very reminiscent of exploitation films from the 70's and early 80's, picking up directly from where Chapter One ended. The visuals and music are some of the best you will find in a game of this genre. Only the voice-over work suffers, both in its grainy/noisy quality and in the actual delivery of the performances (which is fine by me, as that only adds to the feeling of watching a movie you know you shouldn't be watching).
As for actually playing the game? Eh... Just like the first, it's often difficult and frustrating, relying too much on pixel-hunting, though there's arguably less moon-logic in how items you pick up are meant to be used this time around. It IS slightly easier than the first game, but not by much. Your mileage will vary.
Look, these games and their developer are one of a kind. I'm going to buy everything this dude creates, and I will recommend this to anyone who loves old exploitation movies and adventure games. Just know what you're getting into.

If Chapter 1 had been an experience that pushed the boundaries of taste, then Chapter 2 is that same experience being strapped to a truck and driven off a cliff. Gruesome, weird, excessively horny and (unintentionally) absolutely hilarious at times, if you've got the stomach for it, this is a game worth experiencing.
Preferably while drunk.

I very liked first chapter. But the second chapter showed a cruel pixel hunting in which you can walk for an hour in the same locations. Voice acting is still amazing, but they began to sound unnatural along with cutscenes, frames move too fast sometimes.
As in the first chapter, in the second I liked the idea and the atmosphere, they are unique.
I hope that the third chapter will be more like the first one.

Overall, I would say this game is ok, but has many of the same issues as the first one (though these do lesson later on in the game). Primarily, multiple items, exits, and interactables that are virtually indistinguishable from the background. This makes it difficult to see what you can and can't use, and this is exacerbated by multiple screens with red herrings. Still, if you are willing to use a walk-through for some of the opening areas, this is an interesting enough experience, as long as you are looking for a low budget adventure game with a really unusual premise. It is better gamewise than the first one for sure. Just know that it can be a bit of a bumpy ride sometimes, but is still decent.

If you can get past the bad literal English translation then you'll be OK. If you don't like bad English in games then don't buy it.
The actual game itself is quite good. The graphics are reasonable and the background music is fine. If you've played the first chapter then you'll like this one, which I did. I enjoyed the story I found myself liking the main character. The other female characters were kind of wooden.
There is a fair amount of sexual content in the game and also some gore. Although the gore is not on par with the likes of Outlast 2.
What I would like to see in further chapters,
- More depth to the main character.
- The sexual violence is more against female characters, which can be a bit disturbing. Perhaps a 50/50 split would balance it out a little.
- Better English dialog.

This is a great game. Chapter 2 is bigger and has even better looking graphics. This a mature adult game that is a point and click game with a story that keeps you focus in from start to finish and has great and sometimes challenging puzzles, Whats not to like. Some people may criticize the voice acting, but its fine to me since the game was made by one man.IF the developer had 20,000 patreons backing him it would be a even better game in every way possible. This is a true point and click game, meaning you have to point and click on everything to solve a puzzle. This a true adult game, and Im not just talking about the adult content. The game doesn't hold your hand you have to figure things out for yourself just like an adult. The story is for adults and nothing is wrong with that. The gameplay is all about going from point A to ponit B and sometimes solving unique puzzles to get there while learning a suspensful story with unique events and great adult content with great graphics and a great soundtrack. This is a great game that treats adults like adults.
