What’s the Mind VR Exploration?
This is an unprecedented exploratory learning VR application.
The most cutting-edge VR digital technologies are adopted to bring an immersive experience with various elements, such as, Chinese classical architectures, implements, poems, and extraordinary imagination, to users, very impressive.
It is also the first time that Chinese ancient poems and Chinese classical gardens are integrated into one scene, and the unknown are revealed one by one in the form of answering questions, enabling users to set free their imaginations, and allowing them to perceive and savor the profound Chinese classical culture. Users may feel as if they are in their dreams.
After rigorous textual research, the “Xiaoxiang Pavilion” described in “A Dream of Red Mansions” is restored in a panoramic view, recreating classical gardens, furniture and daily scenes in the Ming Dynasty. You can pick up everything you like and play with it. You might even fabricate a Chinese “paper kite”, hand-write a pair of Chinese characters, and listen to the Chinese zither played by the ancients on the waterfront. It is like you travel through time and space, and witness the ancients’ elegance and panache. Finally, you walk in the wind, appreciate the transcendent Chinese natural scenery, and arrive at the next node of exploration.
Compared with the traditional VR applications in the past, Mind brings a higher level of immersive experience to users. Unparalleled impression will be engraved in the memory of users. For elementary and middle school students, it is a suitable education media, users (students) will be amazed by this peculiar learning method.

Mind VR Exploration von MiniSea ist eine kleine Erfahrung. Bei der der Benutzer etwas über klassische chinesische Architektur, Werkzeuge und Gedichte erfahren kann.
Der Spieler bewegt sich in Mind VR Exploration leider nur per Teleportation in einem klassischen chinesischen Garten und kann dort verschiedene Gebäude betreten.
Bezeichnet als "Xiaoxiang-Pavillon" , in dem Möbel und Alltagsszenen der Ming-Dynastie nachbildet werden.
Man kann mit vielen Dingen interagieren, wenn es auch leider keine Handmodelle gibt. Wir können sogar einen chinesischen "Papierdrachen" falten lassen, ein paar chinesische Schriftzeichen von Hand schreiben und einer chinesischen Zither zuhören. Die Zitherspielerin gibt es sogar als kleines 360° Video zu sehen.
Am Ende unserer Wanderung durch den traditionellen Garten, überrascht uns der Papierflieger noch einmal und bringt uns in einen Tempel hoch über den Wolken. Aber das ist noch nicht alles ....
Versprochen wird in Mind VR Exploration zwar ein hohes Maß an Interaktivität und Immersion. Leider wird die Immersion schon zu Beginn geschmälert, da es keine Möglichkeit gibt, die Bewegung auf Free Locomotion zu stellen. Es gibt lediglich ortsbezogene Teleportation. Auf Snapturns wurde auch versichtet. Das ist keine moderne VR-Steuerung.
Interaktionen mit Gegenständen funktionieren recht gut, hier wären aber, wie schon gesagt, richtige Handmodelle immersionsfördernd.
Mind VR Exploration ist wirklich hübsch anzusehen und wer sich für chinesische Geschichte interessiert erfährt hier bestimmt auch etwas. Allerdings nur auf Englisch oder Chinesisch.
Deswegen gibt es von mir ein informativ im Kurzreview und hier einen Daumen nach oben. Schon wegen der Möglichkeit zu malen. 🤣👍

Mind VR Exploration by MiniSea is a small experience. In which the user can learn about classical Chinese architecture, tools and poems.
In Mind VR Exploration, the player unfortunately only moves around a classical Chinese garden via teleportation and can enter various buildings there.
Referred to as "Xiaoxiang Pavilion" , where furniture and everyday scenes of the Ming Dynasty are recreated.
You can interact with many things, though unfortunately there are no hand models. We can even have a Chinese "paper dragon" folded, write some Chinese characters by hand and listen to a Chinese zither. The zither player can even be seen as a small 360° video.
At the end of our walk through the traditional garden, the paper plane surprises us once again and takes us to a temple high above the clouds. But that's not all ....
Mind VR Exploration promises a high degree of interactivity and immersion. Unfortunately, the immersion is already diminished at the beginning, since there is no possibility to set the movement to Free Locomotion. There is only location-based teleportation. Snapturns have also been dispensed with. This is not modern VR control.
Interactions with objects work quite well, but here, as already mentioned, proper hand models would be immersion-enhancing.
Mind VR Exploration is really nice to look at and if you're interested in Chinese history, you'll definitely learn something here. However, only in English or Chinese.
That's why I give it an informative short review and a thumbs up here. Already because of the possibility to paint. 🤣👍

Ein gelungenes VR-Spiel, bei dem ausnahmsweise mal kein Stress herrscht. Man kann in Ruhe alles erforschen und die nett designte Umgebung erforschen und Rätsel lösen. Leider kein Smooth Locomotion!

Eine kurze magische Reise. Der Ton hat zwar nicht funktioniert, vielleicht hätte dieser aber auch nur die Stille des Ortes zerstört. Man kann sich zu bestimmten Punkten teleportieren, Dinge benutzen, es ist sozusagen ein kleines Spiel in dieser VR-Erkundung eingebaut, welches am Ende einen kleinen Rundflug durch die Berge ermöglicht.
Ich fand es interessant, es gibt viele Infos zum Ort/Geschichte, an welchen man nun nicht einfach mal so jeden Tag kommt. Es muss ein ziemlich erhabenes Gefühl sein, zwischen Wolken/Nebel auf so einem Berg zu thronen, und von dort die Sonne auf- oder unter gehen zu sehen.

HTC Vive Cosmos keine Probleme. Von den Videos überzeugt, wurde ich nicht enttäuscht.
Alles in allem sehr gelungen, wenn auch zu kurz.
Kann auch zum Meditieren genutzt werden. Passende Aktionen und Musik vorhanden.
Faszinierende Ansichten und Details- vor allem die Erklärung über die Machart der Holzkunstwerke.
Habe aus Versehen ein paar Vasen zerdeppert, eine Lampe in Brand gesetzt, mehr sollte ich nicht verraten. Das nächste Mal bin ich artig. Ich komme wieder zum meditieren, kurz Drachenfliegen und mein Deckenventilator erhöht die Immersion vor allem dabei.

Toll gemacht. Ich liebe solche Ausflüge in einen andere Kultur. Die vielen liebevoll gestalteten Gegenständen zum anfassen und ausprobieren sind wunderbar.
