Great voice acting and a thoughtful story. The game's refrain is 「強烈に残酷で、理不尽な世界」-- "The harsh, cruel, and unjust world" -- I feel it is a meditation piece about throwing away your selfish illusions. (In particular, the soundtrack does an excellent job at supporting the contemplative atmosphere of the text).
There is a significant amount of violence. Matsuri and Mihomi's stories effected me most strongly, but the other three routes do not really lose out on the quantity of violence; rather the nature of it where it is directed. I feel the violence is neither gratuitous nor sugar-coated -- it serves to support the themes/emotional impact of the story, and I sensed particular care in the presentation of it.
In the future, I do hope this game can reach an English or international audience. It exists in a counterculture genre against mainstream VNs and anime, which peddle a great deal of escapism. Beyond the themes, the execution of this title is so impressive and polished that I wish more people could experience it.
As a final note, there appears to be a "red screen" freezing bug on the first play of Ayume's Bad End route. I've both experienced this myself and seen it on multiple streams of the "demo" version on Youtube. The issue was resolved by restarting the game, but I hope the bug will be fixed in the future.

The game is excellent! Great voices, arts and history. I am a Brazilian fan of Menherafresia Flowering Abyss. I've known Charon's amazing work for years. Great characters, my favorites without a doubt. Thanks for the new game!

I played the original free version of this back in the day, I was happy to see a remake for one of my favorite VNs! It's still very short, but the new graphics and the voice acting really add to the experience. The bonus little vignettes with the girls was also a very welcome addition, it was nice to see them have a good day!
If you enjoy yandere characters, this has a free English patch available on Itch.io, and I do recommend grabbing it, it was fairly well done.

You do need to install an English patch to read this, but man was it worth it. My first VN from CHARON and I will definitely be trying others soon. Voice acting was great, the stories were nice and some had great twists. It was a little on the short side for my liking, but nonetheless still great.

Can you please just add some English on the starting page?? I don't long for a whole English upgrade, just add English to the starting page pls, then I can know what are those Japanese mean...

I've read many of Charon's novels at this point, I am glad I can give the devs support via these purchases. Was delightful to see that one of my favorites, MenheRafflesia, got a remake with voiceacting. I can say I thoroughly enjoyed this one, and it added some good extras without going too far off from the original. However, the original artwork with rough lineart fit certain scenarios better, and I still like the original art a lot. For a few CGs I still prefer the originals. With that said, overall the new art is great and I do think it is well done and pleasant aswell.
Charon visual novel are my absolute favorite novels of all time. Amazing work, love their vision and storytelling, regular novels can outright bore me but Charon ones? Bliss and pain, wonderful.

I loved the original menherafflesia so of course I had to buy this one, I love the higher quality CGS and sprites the voice acting is great too like goddamn Ayume's voice got me acting up but Moeko ivy is still best girl in my opinion. Although you will need to install the English patch if you want to be able to read this in English
