Good game if Diablo IV broke your heart and your wallet.

Everyone is comparing this game to Van Helsing... I guess ill start with that too. Sooo both games are ARPG&Hack'nSlash (tho van helsing is more likely a clone of diablo, victor vran i wouldnt say so) Both games take place in some eastern-south european lands (Seriously Borgovia in VH and Zagrovia in VV ^.^) ,there are vampires in both series. Also story of both games is all about saving the world, woo-hooo! (but i guess like 95% games of this kind is all about it, so...).
Now... There are 2 reasons why i bought the game imidiately after its full release..
1st: I really like hackn'slash genre. Plus this game looked really nice (i mean graphics and all)
2nd: The game looks like its meant to be played on gamepad. And its quite rare in this genre. It was always all about button mashing with your mouse. And gotta tell you... this game gets even greater and better if u are playing on gamepad. The possibility to dodge attacks, roll over fireballs, and jump through pulse waves is just great. If you are skilled and fast enough you can basically dodge it all :) First time its not all about how beffed up your hero is...
Now lets talk something about hero development. Its not super great, but i find it pretty solid. If they polish it in some future paths it might get great :) There is no stats like strenght or agility, but instead you are getting destiny points, destiny card slots, or little max HP buffs. Destiny cards are passive bonuses. The more destiny points you have the more powerful cards you can equip. And there is plenty of them. Plus there are some legendary ones, that benefits you depends on weapon you are using at the time.
Item properties in this game are pretty standard for Hacknslash (extra damage, crit chance, life steal, etc.)
Devs mentions something about unique behaviour of enemies. I guess thats truth. Every single enemy has his own skills and moves (except the simplest ones). But... i would love to see more variety of enemies. Because in this state there is no many of them. Also the game is not that long. It would take less than 10 hours to complete if you rush through it.
I love challenges, and hexes in this game. (hex makes the game more difficult, f.e. monster hits harder, or runs faster) That will let this game to stay alive for long. It would take a lot of time to complete them all, and they are really diverse. Also the difficulty level of many of them varies a lot. The toughest of them, are very difficult. I mean it :)
+SUPER ENJOYABLE while playing on gamepad
+pretty addicting
+nice graphics
+cool combat system
+casual and challenging at once
+challenges, hexes
+Snakes on a Plane!

This game is closer to something like Bastion than it is to Diablo. No classes, no skill trees, just a really pared back aRPG. Like Bastion, the narrator adds a lot to this experience. I enjoyed playing through the campaign, but there's not enough depth here to engage me in the end-game. If you're after a relaxing play-through-in-a-weekend aRPG with a few laughs, this will do.

Fun Diablo-like game to pass the time. The default controls are better than any other game of this genre I have played. Also has Geralt of Rivia. You can't really go wrong with this one, though had a bit of a weak story. 7.8/10

A much more casual ARPG than the likes of PoE or even Diablo. I played the whole game on a controller and I enjoyed it a lot.
