Traffic Jams
In a world without traffic lights, one reigns supreme. Step onto the crossroads as the world’s worst traffic controller and keep traffic flowing in the face of outrageous events and flagrant road rage.
Starting out on a quiet corner in a small town, job offers start pouring in from around the globe. Guide rude pedestrians, impatient drivers, and the occasional meteorite along before road rage strikes. Sound easy? Think again! This chaotic VR game is full of monsters, (un)natural disasters, and something called… ‘cheese bowling’?
In Traffic Jams, you’ll be taken under the wing of Dennis, the self-proclaimed world’s best traffic controller… EVER!!! He comes from a place called Jam City, which gets its name from its many flash mobs and packed intersections. Armed with dreams of superstardom, a sassy attitude and fresh dance moves, he has taken it upon himself to teach YOU the ropes of traffic controlling (although between you and me, he’d rather be dancing). If you give him a chance, he’ll take you on a jam-packed global adventure on the road to friendship.
Made it to the top in career mode? Keep your VR headset cool as up to 4 non-VR friends turn up the
heat in (couch) party mode, or climb the global ranks!
● Take your career on the road: Take on the world’s most iconic and chaotic cities, from New York to Paris, and become a traffic control hotshot in career mode
● Intuitive controls/deep chaos: Using real-life gestures in VR, try your hand(s) at one of the most chaotic yet thankless jobs in human history!
● Frenzied action gameplay: Each city introduces its own events, ranging from pesky to
outrageous
● Play together: Join up to 4 non-VR friends in party mode & hit the leaderboards!

This was exactly what I expected after waiting many months for the release. My kids and I had a blast with multiplayer mode, and the single-player mode was a lot of fun too. The item duplication mini-game in the main menu was also fun (Devs: please don't fix that if it is an unintentional bug :-). Thank you for making this and for including Cas & Chary in the trailer!

The game is pretty fun, but it's a real bummer it doesn't support finger tracking on the Index.
Since the game resolves around your hands and pointing at stuff, I definitely expected it to support finger tracking.
I like how the game implemented multiplayer, it worked great while i tried it.
Overall i would recommend the game if you plan to play it with friends, if not, maybe wait for a sale.
I, as well as all other Index users are looking forward for a Valve Index finger tracking update!

I waited for months to play this game and I am so glad they took their time. Every bit worth the wait. Fantastic job Devs. Please keep adding venues and wacky features. I gifted this game to another streamer to spread the love.

A nice party game, good for showing vr to starters.
You are a street traffic regulator and only need 2 commands to make the traffic flow the way you would like. You point out a vehicle or person with one hand, and either raise your hand palm to them to make them stop or wave your palm towards you to make them move (faster). There are some fun situations that make your job more interesting, like mini games whille regulating traffic. Your aim is to get the highest score. You can also make hand gestures to characters, and they respond back, but that is only a gimmic that doesn't influence the overal game flow.
As it is now you get like 5 intersections, each in a different city. Each of these 5 can be played in day, night setting. Making for different difficulties. You will burn through these very very fast. I hope they will add many many more.
The party play in this game, is fun'ish. And it actually is coop and not versus. The non vr players must help to achieve the vr players objectives as fast as possibe by spawning cars, people, and items. The objectives not only wants you to be a good traffic regulator, but aso a bad one by giving you objectives to let crash and run over people. The non vr players do not need to install any app, They go to a website that lets them put in the game code the vr players gets, and play. This is for now, really nothing more than tapping icons to spawn things, so that gets boring pretty fast.
The graphics are nice, cartoon like. So no blood or body parts go flying. Making this good for children. And with the simplicity it has now in single player and party play this game is more for the younger players, or a vr showcase.
Overall it is not bad, the concept is fun, the controls are good, audio is fine, everything about this game is good. But as it is now, only fun for a few hours. As many vr titles, traffic jams seems like a proven to work concept with limited content.

Delightful game, as basic as they come one hand points the other either makes a stop sign (show palm), or a "move ahead" sign and If you do it quickly you make them go a bit faster!
Thats basically all you need to start playing the game.
Then is starts geting a bit more complicated, more routes, different transports, zombies? godzlilla? an asteroid!?
Its fun, its hectic, some mission requirements are set so you need to cause a little mayhem.
I hoped the MP part (where others can join in and participate was a bit more... playeable for the people not in VR, but its basically clicking a ton of times on their device, and i dont think it has a "viewer" mode for whats mirrored on the TV so they are stuck with the hectic movements of the player.
In any case the main games feels a bit short, there are only a handful of levels with night/day settings, i hope more come soon in maybe crazier environments, but as it is, the game feels very polished and is fun to play.
I also hope for an Index Finger tracking update so i can just gesture with my fingers instead of having to do the whole elbow movement.
Great performance with my 3600/1080, no dips, graphics look great, everything feels really polished.
Recommended to anyone that wants a nice polished funny family friendly game.

PLAYED ON OCULUS QUEST 2 VIA VIRTUAL DESKTOP FULL WIRELESS
I mean... I went in thinking I knew what to expect and still got a pleasant surprise. It's a relatively basic game but its just made REALLY well. Loving it to do death so far.

This is a fantastic VR game where you are the traffic controller, having to use hand motions to tell foot and road traffic when to stop and when to go. Sounds simple enough, but it can get pretty hectic!
This does have a multiplayer aspect where up to 4 non-VR friends can actually join in. I haven't tested this portion out yet but it looks like a great mode for when my Mom visits to play some games!
I was only able to put in 30 minutes so far (my eyes are really sensitive to the light in VR), but really looking forward to playing more. Had zero performance issues and no bugs at all. Ran perfectly fine!
