10/10 I am now a certified jet pilot
game is fun although controls are a bit of a learning curve, after getting them under control you'll appreciate the game mechanics.
The soundtrack of the game is also great addition to this game!

Great game! Pretty challenging but not too frustrating.

A highly skill based twin stick shooter. While there is not a lot of variety to the gameplay between the different levels, it is a good amount of fun trying to improve your skills and get through the levels with less deaths.
I can clearly feel my skills increasing, getting more and more familiar with how my ship and its attached gun behaves.
I can see this turn into a good speedrunning game, as it's pretty much 100% skill based whether you die or not, how fast you complete the levels.

Tiltfire is a fast-paced twitchy game where you die and retry a lot, and it's growing on me as I play it The controls are difficult to master but fun once you get the hang of them. The soundtrack is easy to listen to at length and fits the game well. I think I can genuinely compare it to Hotline Miami, at least in the feeling I get from the gameplay. Tiltfire gives no story and it doesn't do much to build atmosphere, but that's not the point. The focus is on game mechanics and level design here.
I think I started to realize how well designed this game is when I noticed I was developing an intuition for how my ship moves so that I could kind of focus on both flying and shooting, in spite of my bullets pushing me backwards when I fire. I started being able to understand what maneuvers are best for each type of enemy. I got better and better at not crashing into walls while dodging missiles. I started planning paths through areas that would keep me moving fast enough to avoid machine gun fire.
The game's fun, give it a shot.
