I had a great time playing it.
The new version of the game makes it far more enjoyable now.
I did not need a wiki to understand how to play the game and progressively learned how to beat it.
It was funny, it was challenging,
It was not too short, not too long.
It was colorful and and the OST is excellent.
I will remember this game with a smile on my face and some great tunes playing in my head.

It was a fun little game to play local coop on.

Recommend, nice gameplay. Also recommend playing in split screen with a friend.

This game is obviously a labor of love. Even in my 10th run, I still spot items and art that I have not seen before. If the game would stick only to good parts, i.e. offering a beautiful illustrated cheerful, and light-hearted classic Zelda-esque RPG experience (with Roguelite-elements), we would talk about a hit. Unfortunately, the game has a not-so-enjoyable progression system, that renders replay value as replay duty, and some nasty bugs that make it so that you cannot always achieve your objectives in a run (so far, I had no actual game-breaking bug and I could always continue, but some missing key/shut door prevented me from completing important but still missable quests in some instances). I really had a blast in the first 20+ hours but started to care less since that. Nevertheless, when I crossed the 50 hours mark I knew, despite the defects, I cannot down-vote the game, I simply enjoy it too much. Even if I am not maxing it out and restrain from going for 100% I am still recommending it for the nicely packaged classic experience (let's cut grass & throw some bushes, yea!) and some fresh ideas (ether infused golf club to stun enemies, ehe). 6/10

Don't get the negative reviews.
Game is aesthetically pleasing and fun. Gameplay is remiscient of top down Zelda games.
Only downside is that, as it's a rogue like, it can be unforgiving and progress is lost.

Good game, avoid negative reviewsØ the perma-death is no longer exist.
Note: though this one and Android/IOS same, but I highly recommend steam version for local Co-op mode, if you interested and want play with Friends, Family.. Just all you need a backup joystick.

I don't see this game talked about online nearly enough. Its almost perfect, there are a few small things that I didn't like such as the curse system but those are all very minor. this game is definitely worth it.
