There comes a time in every man's life when he needs to take a look at himself in the mirror and wonder how exactly he reached such a place.
You have to truly ponder what decisions you have made along the way that brought you to the place of your final reckoning.
It is still unclear, even to me, why I purchased The Monstrous Horror Show.
There isn't anything wrong with it, with those nudity scenes throughout it's perfectly stellar. But when you look at it as a choice, you realize just how flawed you and the rest of humanity is.
What drove me to purchase such a game? What part of my soul felt so empty that I thought a virtual girl could fill it?
When I look into the boundless depths of my own loneliness I see a pool of reflection. My face isn't there, there is no face. There are only tears in that pool, tears of shame and loss and confusion.
If it were up to me again I know I would purchase it in a heartbeat, I know I would load it up and skip through the countless window prompts so I can have a single morsel of pornographic images which are readily available online.
Yet, despite the abundance of naked virtual women waiting in the digital sphere, I still chose to purchase this game and devote hours of my life to it. That time will never return to me, it is lost just like my soul and just like the time I fear I may never find it again.
There is something broken within me, something that desires sensation beyond my reach, something that whimpers every single night with the knowledge that there is no true Princess, it is a merely an illusion.
In my pursuit to find meaning in this long life, I sought the colorful lights and sounds of a world that only exists in a pop up window on my computer.
I am unsure what the moral of this review is, I am unsure about my place within the universe, all I know is that no amount of virtual girls can cure the vast rot that has overtaken me.

Story: Typical Horror Game content. Story unfolds with minor cutscenes and Documents throughout gameplay. Really liking it, though not the best thing ever but definitely liking it. *Edit: the devs put so much effort into the cutscenes and multiple endings. Definitely feel a lot of love for this work! The last half of the game just Goes Over the Top!

Highly Recommend if you like good NSFW CG and horror thriller gameplay. Game's pretty good at trying to nerve wrack the players. While the attempts are to mess with the player, the nerve wrack or fear you'd have would probably go away after facing the issue multiple times like most horror games. Game has difficulty based on the characters you choose to play as.
If you don't know what game to play for the day or the week, pick this one up! If not, can always do a sale later not missing out whether you play now or later.

A tragicomedy that will keep you entertained all the way through.
First of all, this might be the best translation OtakuPlan has done, there were ZERO typos and every sentence was coherent, hell they translated the jokes to english pretty damn well, I'm impressed.
Let's go with gameplay first, it begins with exploration, puzzles and forced fights if you get caught.
Thankfully, there is a map you can use anytime you want because at first the hospital is quite the maze before you get to know it well. And something very important I would recommend to any new player is inspect every object you see even after you get the gem that makes items "glow" for you because there are IMPORTANT items you will need for the endings. If you don't have those items. you are pretty much locked out until you get them, but once you get them, you can jump straight to the ending section so it saves a lot of time.
The story was such a rollercoaster, was expecting at first some spooky abandoned hospital place but I got cinema in the end.
So yeah, despite having horror in the title, it was a very fun game with funny scenes that made me giggle. If you wonder what's the horror part of it, then the only "scary" bits you might find disturbing is the blood and some exposed organs, you will see later on.
And something to remark with this game is the pixel art which is used for the sprites and cutscenes. Portraits + pixel animations make for some good viewing.

Bought this game on a whim expecting a game that provided maybe an hour or two of playtime and hand-held game play.
Surprisingly, the game has a at least 5 hours of game play, decent replay value, funny dialogue, and a completely unexpected story/plot line.
(Note: This game does need a CG patch for certain adult content, but that's not needed to run the game. )
Overall, the game is pretty self aware about how silly it is and uses that to its full advantage.
10/10. Would recommend if my Steam friends ever brought this game up.
